film Marketing Co-ordinator, Sam Adams, is looking forward to From Up On Poppy Hill: “As a lover of Studio Ghibli, I’ll be counting down the days to see one of their more recent animated masterpieces. If that wasn’t enough, I’m being utterly spoilt with another anime film in the form of Studio Chizu’s beautifully romantic, Wolf Children. Excited doesn’t even come close!”
Visual Arts Manager, Fiona Cassidy, is looking forward to Museum Hours: “Sunday afternoon visits to Tate Britain began my interest in Fine Art. I’m still fascinated by how museums create an environment for the enjoyment of art. It will be interesting to see how the characters’ story grows in this setting.”

Simon Davison is a TV and Film writer, director and composer. His previous work has included documentaries, adverts and feature films including Captain Eager and the Mark of Voth, starring Tamsin Grieg. He is currently directing the feature 5 Greedy Bankers with Pippa Haywood and Ramon Tikaram.
About the tutor: Matthew Dean studied Film and Animation at the Arts Institute in Bournemouth and has been teaching animation at Salisbury Arts Centre for nearly 9 years. He has had plenty of experience entertaining young people and creating quality films and animations.

Access We live in the deconsecrated Church building on Bedwin Street, Salisbury, SP1 3UT. You can park in College Street or Salt Lane car parks, which are free after 6pm. We have two Disabled Parking spaces at the rear of the Arts Centre, accessed via Bedwin Street. Public transport is easily accessible with the bus station just 5 minutes away and the train station a 15 minute walk away. Public areas are accessible by ramps or lift. A disabled toilet is situated on the ground floor with full baby changing facilities. Infrared or Induction Loop systems are available.
