Design Statement. As a designer I primarily devote my skills to the production of Editorial and publication design. I am also interested in effective branding and identity. Over the course of this year I plan to further my knowledge of Editorial design in a number of briefs utilising the use of grids and layouts, discovering the limitations of these and challenging them.

01 - Showcase magazine The brief - Design a monthly publication showcasing the talent of students across Leeds College of art. Concept - A monthly magazine to showcase the diversity across Leeds college of art in order to help students gain recognition in their chosen fields. the magazine will feature interviews with alumni and tutors and provide tips for students about professionalism and creating a name with in the industry Target audience - Students at LCA Deliverables - Magazine, Web and app proposal Time Scale - 3+ months

02 - Noodle bar The brief - Brand and promote a noodle bar based in leeds. Considerations - Explore the use of western design whilst maintaining the integrity of eastern food.
