In relation to the research undertaken in to Ian Aderson and his practice in conjunction with the brief set, the notebook features a quote from Ian Anderson. The bright colour used is aesthetically a great contrast when paired against the black note pad. The colour also connotes Ian Anderson’s own bright, eye catching and contemporary design aesthetic. The layout of the design is clear and consise allowing the quote to become the focal poiny of the design. The belly band was a design desicison made so it can be used multiple times when one book is filled with Ian Anderson’s words, he can reuse the band reminding him of his passion for writing.

The main deliverable to this brief was to present a presentation denoting how pointless the said activity was. In conjunction with the presentation, the information recorded whilst performing the pointless task of walking aimlessly was transfered in to a series of posters.
