Which is better, the new Iphone or Samsung galaxy?
Sandals Ochi Beach Resort DELANO & BRENEKA Loyalty And Travel
We love the free apps that you can get on the Samsung Galaxy, since we do not believe in paying for them. The galaxy is also light weight, flat  and of course water proof. It is the ultimate modern phone.

The iPhone is better. The camera is of a much high standard with more mega pixels. It is also a much safer phone as the password is almost impossible to crack and is much safer from virus.

“The consensus is clear. It always has been. The Wedding team at Sandals Resorts is greatness personified and it is led by an exceptional woman, who (in this humble writer’s opinion) oversees the finest wedding planners in the entire hospitality industry.” Through the years the Sandals Group has no doubt distinguished itself based on its willingness to rely on a team of dedicated professionals who embody the passion and drive of our company’s Chairman and CEO.
People’s Choice Award. A truly well balanced team,
We have all seen the pride with which each department carries themselves and how that pride is woven into the rich tapestry that is the Sandals experience. No chef cooks like a Sandals chef; no butler serves like a Sandals butler; no driver drives like a Sandals VIP driver. The company has never failed to recognize its top talent over the years through programmes like the Prestige and Ultimate awards. But this is about more than just awards, it’s about how strong leadership inspires success.

This incredible team is led by the equally dynamic Marsha-Ann Donaldson-Brown; an energetic motivator each couple experiences a day that eclipses all other days they have had, and will ever have. Mrs. Donaldson-Brown will be the first to tell you that the success of her division is not about her but instead it is her incredible team that makes the magic happen. Group Managers Nadine Dennis and Alexis Chin; Project Manager Megan Martin, (Wedding) Managers of the Year such as Irose Gerald and Samaria SmithCooper. The names and faces are numerous but the effect is the same among everyone you speak to, these are outstanding people who are tremendous at what they do. This feature does not have quotes. The consensus is clear. It always has been. During the recently concluded companywide Prestige Awards for 2015, the team from the Weddings Division won an unprecedented 11 individual awards and two team awards. This dynamic group of individuals, charged with creating unforgettable; once in a lifetime, dream weddings and romantic experiences did not limit their success to their core roles however as Marcia Powell from Sandals Grande Antigua was the consummate social activist as she received the Sandals Foundation Community Spirit Award while Sandals Royal Plantation’s Jason Cammock copped that resort’s

Platinum Talent of the Year Awardee Sandals Montego Bay

June 2016 inTouch
Each year, Sandals takes the time out to recognize their outstanding talents for their remarkable improvements, workmanship and the values they have added to make the luxury-included resort a beacon among other hotel brands. Shantal Smith was the proud recipient of the Platinum Talent of the Year award – a reward for her hard work and consistency over her three year tenure at Sandals Montego Bay. Her induction to the world of work began in 2012 as a hospitality trainee in the Human Resources department at Sandals Montego Bay. She was then moved to the Accounts department on a one year contract as an accounting clerk and in 2013, became fully employed to the resort as an administrative assistant in the Watersports department. She counts that as an achievement and one of her best experiences since being with the company. Knowing that I’m now a real member of the Sandals family makes me feel really good, she shared. Over those three years, she noted areas of personal development in her life through Sandals’ impact. Development in her maturity and confidence levels, her
growing ability to deal with different types of people and being open – which her job requires of her – are the areas in which she saw remarkable improvements. She also inserted that she is breaking away from her shy shell. Though she has seen herself develop in myriad ways, she confessed that one of her biggest challenges is time management but assured that she has been doing her best to tackle this issue and improve. By keeping a list of things to do, she sorts through the more urgent tasks to be completed then moves down the list, and in this way she is better able to circumvent becoming inundated with work. Being the recipient of the Platinum Talent award has motivated her to work even harder and she supplied that being recognized for her hard work and dedication left her feeling accomplished and humbled. Through the Sandals Corporate University, she will undergo in-depth training through a few courses to expand her skills and knowledge in various areas that will help her to grow with Sandals and become more flexible.

SANDALS WHITEHOUSE HOSTS NECI WORKSHOP
In the month of June 10 cooks from Sandals Resorts in the Negril and Whitehouse Region participated in an intensive week-long workshop with the New England Culinary Institute (NECI). At the end of the training, which included both theory and practical, each participant received professional certification from NECI. The initiative is part of the Sandals Corporate University’s mandate to the professional development of Sandals Talents through reputable education and training programmes.

ON A MISSION TO SAVE THE REEF
In the month of June Sandals Whitehouse was buzzing with talk about what can be done to protect our oceans and on World Ocean’s Day [June 8th], observed under the theme Healthy Oceans, Healthy Planet, a team at the luxury-included resort stopped talking and took decisive action by participating in a special Reef Preservation clean-up Dive. Early on the morning of June 8th a team of 19 Advanced Divers, most of them guests from the resort along with members of the resort’s dive team and Sandals Foundation Marine wardens, set out to retrieve debris from sections of the Whitehouse marine sanctuary – a protected area covering a two-mile stretch from Farm Point to Culloden and of course they came back with a ‘catch’ including an old fish pot. They even helped to rescue a young shark! It was a pretty awesome experience indeed.

The children were students of Coke’s View Primary School, Galloway ECI, Alsie Brown ECI and Middlequarters Basic school. The items were supplied through numerous Pack for a Purpose® donations made by guests visiting Sandals Whitehouse.

most amazing feeling ever!

HOW YOU DESCRIBE YOUR LIFE AS A MOM IN 6 WORDS? It’s the HOW DO YOU COPE WITH BEING AWAY FROM YOUR NEWBORN? I just remembered her smile and anticipate it once I step through the door.
HOW DO YOU FIND TIME FOR YOURSELF WITH A NEW BORN? I called her grandmother or her sitter and just get away!
WHAT’S THE WEIRDEST FOOD YOU CRAVED WHEN YOU WERE PREGNANT? This is weird to me as I’m not a big fan of eggs “egg & cheese with whole wheat bread and fried plantains” and I would be eating this in the wee hours of the morning like 3am!
WHAT WAS THE COOLEST BABY SHOWER GIFT YOU RECEIVED? OMG, my husband told me that we were going for dinner, but first he had to pick up an item from one of his staff. When we got there he asked me if I’ve ever been to that location, I said no hun, he said that I should come and check it out; it’s a very nice apartment. So when I went, he put me in front of him and when i bent the corner i heard the big shout surprise! I started to cry after seeing all my friends, families & my wonderful teammates that i not too long ago left at work. This was the bomb. The gift i received that i truly desired was the wipes warmer.
