Note from the Editor
This fall, I bring you the vibrant chaos of Sandwich to brighten your day Three months can feel like an eternity, and I hope you enjoyed the summer issue. My goal with this zine is to share inspiring finds and to offer some inspiration for your everyday life.
In the Ornamentation section, the highlight is Happy Hour Home. I’ve been baking banana nut loaf with this recipe for a year and a half, and it’s sure to impress. Warm up your fall with this delicious recipe find it in the Edibles section. Over the summer, I visited the beautiful city of Querétaro in Mexico, where I discovered its art, delicious food, and amazing weather Having not traveled to central Mexico since 2015, I found Querétaro to be a peaceful destination and a great base for exploring nearby Pueblos Mágicos Is this edition’s publication even a publication? Find out on page 15 I’ve also made predictions about your future based on your birthday see what’s in store on page 16 What’s in My Purse returns now with my friend Barbara This issue features artist Filippo Scotti, and I’m excited to take you back to the 80s in the Archives section with the movie Pretty in Pink.

“publication”
ARE YOU REAL?
Although this isn't an official publication, I’m a big fan of this small booklet I purchased at a local fair I was drawn to it because it explores invisible aspects that exist within us or around us concepts that are often difficult to grasp and explain Additionally, as you may know, I love mixing English and Spanish, and this booklet embraces that blend. After doing some research, I discovered that Mariana Prado is an artist from Reynosa, Tamaulipas/South Texas Her work, which you can view on her vibrant website, marianucha com, is characterized by its brightness, chaos, and nostalgic quality

Filippo Scotti, the Italian actor featured in the movie The Hand of God, also has a passion for photography. When I first saw the movie, I checked out his Instagram and discovered that he is an accomplished photographer His work primarily focuses on close-up shots of buildings and fabrics I find his choices captivating, as close-up art is often underrated and not frequently showcased on Instagram
OBSESSION
PRETTY IN PINK
I’m a huge fan of 80s fashion, movies, and music. While trends come and go in today’s consumerist, online world, I believe the 80s are making a comeback. Think buttons on purses, floral lace, layers of patterns, mismatched earrings, and bright colors. A perfect example of young adult fashion from the 80s is the movie Pretty in Pink Andie, who shares my name, is a cool character who would be an Instagram sensation today After watching Pretty in Pink, I couldn’t help but wonder if any Gen Z viewers had seen it Andie’s style energizes me and reminds me of the importance of dressing uniquely Alongside Andie, Duckie and Iona are characters with unmatched style Pretty in Pink is a must-watch for anyone seeking fashion inspiration with an 80s flare
