I am excited to be back to share my latest curated hot list of items This month, I have made some changes to the sections but the quality remains. For Ornamentation, I am sharing a ceramics business based out of the Rio Grande Valley For Edibles, I am presenting Patrizi's, which has become one of my favorite pasta restaurants in Austin. I p i c k e d u p t h i s b o o k a t a l o c a l f l e a m a r k e t f o r a d o l l a r . I thought the title was hilarious and had to have it I ended up reading some of it and found the writer, to my surprise, quite entertaining. Although, you may not read this for actual advice on your manners, you might find yourself chuckling with Mrs Humphry's comments. It was almost like watching Bridgerton

My favorite section is Dinners and Dinner Parties I can't help myself but imagine having fancy dinners with my friends

Seru Giran is an Argentinian rock band started in 1978 Formed by Charly Garcia, David Lebon, Oscar Moro, and Pedro Aznar

Peperina was Seru Giran's last album before their breakup, released in 1981.

I read somewhere that the audience of the 80s considered the band too experimental In my opinion, there's no better time to listen to Peperina than now The variety in each song reminds me of the variety in Billie Eilish's album Happier Than Ever; each song so different, yet the album is somehow cohesive The first song I listed to was Salir De La Melancolia, which is

practically a short poem talking about men letting go of their desire to posses women I played it on repeat so many times, I had to find out if the rest of the album was as good.

This album takes me on a journey like no other before The lyrics reach my heart and melt me There are songs that remind me of Mana, Kalimba, and even Perras on the Beach Garcia finds a way to make the songs masterpieces, making him an incredible lyricist and musician

LEONA VICARIO

On the early morning of September 16, 1810, Father Miguel Hidalgo rang the bells of a small church and summoned the Mexican people to take up arms and fight for the Independence of Mexico Although, this is recognized as the Independence day of Mexico, the war of independence took place over a period of ten years (Library of Congress) During that time, Leona Vicario was a key revolutionary member of the fight Vicario was raised in a wealthy family, allowing her to study journalism and later work with notable newspapers In 1810, when the Cry of Hidalgo took place, Vicario joined and partially funded the revolution (Gobierno de Mexico) She was one of the first to contact the rebel leaders and acted as a spy and messenger She also transformed her house into a center of information and communication for the rebels Eventually, she was arrested for supporting the cause and was deprived of her properties and assets; after the victory, Vicario was granted them back (Wikipedia)

Vicario is recognized as a true heroine of Mexico, Mother of Patriotism, and Founder of Mexico
