FORBES BEACH Earlier this month, Council launched the Forbes Beach at the Forbes Olympic Pool. As school goes back next week, this is the last weekend the beach will be set-up. There is sand, beach games including volleyball and cricket, a self-frame and deck chairs for all pool users to utilise. Cool off and beat the heat at the Forbes Beach.

HERITAGE ADVISORY SERVICE & LOCAL HERITAGE FUND Council provides a free Heritage advisory service for owners of items of historical significance. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS TO COUNCIL COMMITTEE Nominations are sought for the following representative positions to the Saleyards Advisory and Floodplain Management Committees. These Committees are responsible for making recommendations to Council on special interest issues. • Saleyards Advisory Committee: stock and station agents; vendor; regional representative (i.e. active participant within the livestock industry); transporter and buyer. • Floodplain Management Committee: community member with active interest in floodplain management.
