What makes you a Team?

One of the reasons members join the organisation is to learn how to teamwork. We provide this experience by putting together at least 3 talents to collaborate & work together.

The Team Leader should should showcase the AIESEC & Leadership way for the new talents to follow.


TEAM PURPOSE Why are you a Team?

The perfect team is the one where the membership is aware of its purpose of creation in the first place. We don't create teams just to create teams. There's a purpose that the members needs to understand. Not only the purpose of AIESEC but also the purpose of their potential leadership within the team.


TEAM IDENTITY Who are you as a Team?

Who are you? Talents should behave following the AIESEC way, they have to showcase the organization values & the things they believe in and matter the most to them. Talents should be customer and solution oriented. - Set the Why of the team - Team ambition -Team expectations - Team rules - Define your values - Your vision - Your principles


TEAM RULES Set rules: The team rules should be set at the beginning of the experience. Clear, easy and memorable rules to set a smooth atmosphere in the team. Rules should follow the entity rules, to ensure an organized & respectful work and also act following the rules so everyone can assume his responsibility.


TEAM MEETINGS Weekly Meetings

GET ON BOARD Communication is very important in AIESEC. Everyday communication through emails is great but a physical one each week is very important to keep your team updated and also motivated towards the goals. 1st Meeting: Set rules, expectations of each one towards everyone.

Meetings: ex: the purpose of the meeting, a spot for recognition, open the meeting with energizers, someone to chair the meeting, review the work progress ... etc


TEAM DAY Get Together

It's very important for the talent to stay motivated, to get to know the members more closely in order to ensure a great team work. We do that through bonding activities that we deliver at least once per quarter, throught trips, through events. It helps have a better look at the talent.

Find out who is a competiter, a team worker, and what kind of a person your members are.


TEAM BUILDING Get Together

Activities we can run through department meetings, LCM, gatherings. They are fun, purposeful activites to gather the team, to keep the spirit & stay focus on the goals while working together. They can be an introduction to your meetings or as a closing.
