Planting Flowers
You would want to read this chapter 2irst because it’s mostly the 2irst step of having 2lowers. It is easy to do because it just digging a small hole in the soft dirt and a seed! For planting, you need a hole in some good soil. Good soil is wet, coffee-‐like, dark soil. You need GOOD soil is because with out it, the 2lower will live a shorter life. Though you could put it in a pot. A pot is a brick made item that’s like a cup. But it’s for putting 2lowers. Then put a seed in the middle of the hole and burry it. Don’t burry it too deep or it will get crushed into dust by all the soil above! Make sure that the 2lower is near the sun or else the 2lower won’t grow fast. The 2lower needs the sunlight to get energy to make food of it’s own food. Growing isn’t part of planting but it’s giant part of all plants that is a giant part of oxygen and cycle of nature. You’ll 2ind oxygen and cycle of nature in the chapter: Are Flowers Important?

Taking Care For Flowers
Taking care of you’re 2lower is an incredibly important part of having a 2lower. If you don’t take care of you’re 2lower, it will die faster than a week! Everyday you need to water you’re 2lower. You can’t do it too much a day. if you put too much water, it will drown! Water isn’t the only and biggest part of taking care of your 2lower, there is sun and soil. Everyday you need to make sure the dirt is clean. By clean I mean, wet, coffee-‐like, dark soil! And make sure there’s no rock inside! Face it towards the shiny sun. If it doesn’t have sunshine, it will go s-‐l-‐o-‐w-‐l-‐y. Sunshine isn’t important to growing 2lowers but important to speed of growing. Flowers make their own food. Sun is a recipe of it own food but only for duplicating the food.

Dead Heading And Cutting
Dead heading is not killing a 2lower. Cutting is killing a 2lower. Dead heading is good. Cutting is nice but bad. You dead head only when it is already dead.if you cut when alive, it is cutting. If you cut the middle, it does not mean it is cutting. Dead heading’s purpose is to keep more nutrition. You cut a dead head off, the dead head stops sucking nutrition. Then with a headless stem, it could grow a new heathy 2lower! You could cut off the head or middle for decorating and giving. You can’t cut the head if you’re giving. You can’t because other people won’t like it if you give them a live head of a 2lower. If you’re decorating, you can cut the head. You can because decorating sometimes includes hanging 2lower heads.

Decorating And Giving
You don’t need to read this chapter. It is only useful for you if you’re giving or decorating with 2lowers.
For decorating, you can get some top cut 2lowers hanged on a string. For that, you need: a string as long as side to side of you’re house, two tapes, and some top cut 2lowers. First, pull the string through the 2lowers. Second, tape the string onto the two sides of you’re house. For giving, you need: middle cut 2lower, a paper, and a ribbon. First, wrap the paper around the 2lowers. Second, tie the ribbon around the paper and 2lowers. You can give it to other people to cheer them up!

Are Flowers Important?
Are 2lowers important? You might not think so but yes. It’s important. with out 2lowers theres no life on earth. Ready to learn more about cycle of nature? Great! Cycle of nature is a life cycle. Even cycle of nature is a kind of life cycle but life cycle is made by cycle of nature. Flowers give us oxygen by sucking carbon dioxide from air and giving it oxygen and letting it back in the air.that is called photosynthesis. Did you know 2lowers help 2lowers? Flowers help 2lowers by pollination. One 2lower’s pollen grain falls in the other 2lower’s pistil and the other 2lower can can have eggs to have new 2lowers. Flowers keep people healthy by making medicine. Also different kinds of medicine. Medicine help keep people away from being sick.

Parts Of A Flower
Each 2lower has eight parts or nine. There is the pistil, stamens, leaves, stem, 2lower, roots, hairs, egg and petals. The pistil is a stem that is connected to the egg. It collects pollen grain from another 2lower. Then after it dies it will grow a new 2lower. Then the cycle of nature will go on! The stamens of a 2lower has anthers on it. Anthers have pollen grain on it. Bees go inside the 2lower to sip the honey-‐sweet nectar. When they do that, they’re body gets pollen grain on them to pollenate. The 2lower contains the stamens, pistil, egg and petals. The 2lower is on top of the stem. There are leaves on the stem. The leaves help about the oxygen. Leaves are also the place that create 2lowers own food. 8
