Jesus shows me how to trust God
DAY 20
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 (NIV)
Sometimes you might not trust God because you have lost hope that it’s working. You think that telling the truth gets you in trouble, being nice gets you nowhere, or doing the right thing is boring. In the famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “God blesses those who look to him for help. They belong to the kingdom of heaven! God blesses those who are humble. They belong to
God! God blesses those who obey him. They will be given what they ask for! God blesses those who are forgiving and show mercy to others. They will be treated with forgiveness and mercy! Feel excited and joyful today! For those who do what is right by God will have a big reward in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 5) You can trust God and look to Him for help. You can trust that obeying God is worth it and He will give you everything you need.
