WORKING WITH PING Showcasing our commitment to offering the highest quality food, MasterChef 2014 winner Ping Coombes has designed recipes exclusively for our villa guests that will be expertly prepared by our own team of highly trained chefs. Providing modern twists on cultural classics, Ping’s Asianinfused menu will be an additional option should guests be interested in trying dishes like Asian tuna tartare or gadogado salad. She has also designed recipes especially for our younger villa and Explorers guests, to introduce them to new flavours.
Ping grew up surrounded by good food in a town called Ipoh in Malaysia, which is revered as a must-visit destination for gastronomic travellers. Her passion for cooking started at a young age and continued at university where she would get tips from her mother over Skype on how to hold a ‘wok chan’ or ladle. A few years later with many recipes and a wealth of experience under her belt, she applied for the 10th series of MasterChef and was crowned MasterChef 2014 champion.

OUR WINTER CHILD CARE
Not only do we have fantastic childcare during the summer months, it is also available for those keen to ski in the Alps with us. We offer a private nanny service to both our chalet and hotel guests in Courchevel 1850, Val d’Isère and St Anton. Our qualified team look after your children throughout the day and will plan an action packed programme of fun indoor and outdoor activities such as tobogganing, swimming and creative games. They will also accompany them to and from ski school and encourage the younger ones as they try skiing for the first time. After lessons, nannies can stop for a nutritious lunch (catering for any individual tastes or allergies) or even bring your children to meet you at a mountain restaurant. In addition, we operate an exclusive Scott Dunn Explorers children’s club in the centre of Val d’Isère for children aged four months to 13 years staying in our chalets and hotels and a Scott Dunn Mini Explorers at Le Portetta Courchevel Moriond (1650), exclusively for our guests staying in the hotel and lodges.
