The annual New England Club pizza social will be held on Friday, April 8, 5-7 PM, Desert Oasis/Ocotillo Room. All New Englanders, past and present, are welcome for an evening of conviviality, plus pizza, salad, wine and ice cream. We invite all Wisconsinites to come “Back Together Again” at our annual party Sunday, April 3, 1-4 PM, Catalina Vista. Rehearsals are underway for our production of Big Guns, which will be a rip-snorting two-act play based on a 1940s radio show with musical interludes. The show will be performed at the Gaslight Music Hall on Sunday, March 27, with shows at 2 PM and 6 PM. Important new information: If you still have an original ticket for Big Guns purchased back in 2020 (that performance was cancelled due to the pandemic), please contact Karen Alexander at karen29alexander@gmail.com to arrange for a refund. Those original tickets will not be honored by the Gaslight Music Hall on March 27. The next general meeting is Thursday, March 17, 10:30 AM, Desert Oasis.

Monthly guest speakers cover a range of topics to inform club members of veteran organizations, VA compensation, entitlements and relevant issues.

March promises to be a fun and busy month of dance. It begins with “Joy of Dancing,” a free, introductory event with lessons for those new to ballroom dancing, Wednesday, March 9, 5-7:30 PM, AFC Studios 1 & 2.

Our month continues with a free evening dance for members ($10/cpl, nonmembers) Saturday, March 19, 6-8:30 PM, Catalina Vista. As a bonus, our dance instructor, Christine, will lead us in a ½-hour lesson for some fun nightclub two-step patterns. This is a BYOB and snacks event.

Classes start again Wednesdays, March 23, 30 and April 6, 5-5:50 PM, AFC/Studios 1 & 2, with beginner’s lessons for those who are new or a bit rusty. The three class series is free for club members, new or returning, so join us.
