Folk dancing is a wonderful way to exercise both your body and mind while socializing in the company of a warm and welcoming group. We encourage everyone who is fully vaccinated to join us, no experience, no partners required. We review each dance prior to dancing. Keep in mind that the only mistake you can make is to not have fun. Bonus: no meetings, no minutes, no dues–just dance, dance, dance. There is even a club website which lists each week’s dances along with a video link to each dance for those who like to watch or review dances at home.

Please give it a try. Questions? Come and see; check out the website or call Raven.

Dance schedule and rehearsals resume in the fall. Look at the wonderful YouTube instructions for all sorts of dance workouts and routines, including belly dancing, beginning tap, jazz and Zumba.

With all good thoughts for things to head in the direction of normal activity, I'm putting together a list of gals who wish to be on a syncopated dance team for performance purposes in SCOV. "Sun City Sugar" will launch when it's safe to do so, for the purpose of augmenting the fun and frolic of the Variety Theatre Club. More information coming soon.

Meantime, stay in shape and check the Dance page under Hula, Jazz and Razzmatazz. To join the dance team, email dancingextra@gmail.com and become a Sugar dancer.
