Vernon Brown, Sioux Falls Vernon Brown is Vice President of Marketing & Community Relations for SDN Communications, a position he has held for 18 years. He also worked as a reporter for KELOLAND TV for 12 years and was a Sioux Falls City Councilor for eight. He has served on the 911 Coordination Board, Vote Yes for Sioux Falls Schools, and the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation, among others. He and his wife Tami own The Spice & Tea Exchange of Sioux Falls.
