Seahaven Hard of Hearing Club

Our December meeting was our Christmas Party. Members were welcomed with a glass of wine or sherry and were entertained by the Seaford Sunshine Strummers. Everyone sang along and some even danced. Tea was served with a selection of sandwiches, cakes, mince pies, sausage rolls, biscuits and nibbles.

The raffle was drawn and the entertainment continued mostly with singing only as people were too full to dance. At the end of the afternoon cards and presents were given to all those attending. Members who were not at the meeting had their presents were delivered to their homes. On 17th December we are off to The Old Boot for a Christmas lunch.

The next social meeting will be on Friday 7th January when Neil Sadler will entertain us with a talk on Gongoozling. Visitors are welcome to come along. We meet at St James’ Clubhouse, Blatchington Road, Seaford at 2pm.

After a very successful five weeks of Lip Reading the new Lip Reading term will begin again on Tuesday 4th January at 10am at the Downs 60 Plus Club at Sutton Corner, Seaford.
