BOIPATONG.- A duplicitous woman who used to complain that Police were harassing and terrorising her is suspected of dealing ‘nyaope’ and dagga. She finally ended up behind bars last week. Sadimo Mohlabakoe (56) cried and pleaded innocence when the Vanderbijlpark Police
Task Team burst unexpectedly into her house, arguing that she was only selling snacks and sweets near Lebohang Secondary School. Some of her relatives were in the house when Police arrived. Police spokesperson Constable Thembeka Koago said the suspect saw the Police before she instructed a 19-year-old woman to swallow a plastic bag of nyaope.
Police found the girl struggling to swallow about 12 chunks of nyaope wrapped in a plastic money-bag. Seeing that Police were at the door, the owner threw the drugs under the bed, but it was too little too late. Police ransacked the house and came across plastic bags full of dagga and cash. Four people including a five-
year-old girl were arrested and taken to the Boipatong Police Station. Koago said that while Police were busy taking fingerprints, the owner of the house was seen whispering into the ear of another suspect. She was heard saying, “When you go back home, make sure you remove other drugs hidden over the curtain in the bedroom.” Police then took the male suspect home to continue searching the house. A pair of baby socks was confiscated containing 35 plastic bags of nyaope. The man denied involvement in the drug syndicate. He told Police he was an unemployed loan shark. The little girl was released into the care of relatives. The owner of the house is charged with dealing in drugs. She appeared before the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court and was released on R600 bail. The other co-accused failed to arrange for bail and spent the weekend behind bars. A 19-year-old suspect will be charged for defeating the ends of justice. The main suspect’s story recently appeared in Sedibeng Ster under the heading, “Please stop harrasing me’, dated September 18 of 2013. After being released on bail, Mahlabakoe told Sedibeng Ster that the police had found her guilty even before they arrested her. “They told me openly that ‘I am not going to get an opportunity prove my innocence. To add salt to this wound, Police instructed school security where I was selling snacks to chase me away outside the school premises,” said Mahlabakoe.
“ We will be evicted over our dead bodies” Mduduzi Mathebula
SEBOKENG. - Nine months ago residents from different zonal areas were alleged to have lodged themselves in Zone 19 RDP houses. This action was alleged to have come to the attention of Local Government and the provincial Housing Department, but nothing was done. On Monday Zone 19 residents woke up ‘guns blazing’ and closed the Golden Highway and Mandela Square, disrupting traffic. The
strike is said to have erupted after they were given seven days to evacuate the houses (The deadline is Friday). Residents say they will not be evicted and that they are willing to die for the houses they have occupied for nine months. According to the voice of the masses, they registered for houses as far back as 1996 and never received them. Parks Khainyane, chairperson of the Housing Forum, says they apprised Housing MMC Manana Kubheka and the pro-
vincial Housing Department about the situation, but nothing was done. “There are too many loopholes on this housing matter. The project manager was suspended in connection with all kinds of allegations - but the real issue was illegal allocations,” says Khaiyane. Patrick Sidane, EFF Provincial Head of Communication, says they are in support of the residents. Applicants are housed who registered about 19 years ago. “Eviction will be an attack on the poor
and the suppression of their rights. Hopefully, the right procedures will be taken to allocate a place to the persons evicted,” says Sidane. The response from the Emfuleno Local Municipality (ELM) through assistant Communications Manager Stanley Gaba is that ELM is aware of the situation. ELM will respond fully once it has examined the facts around illegal allocation to establish what legal steps should be taken.

Organiser Dan Sibanyoni says the primary objective of the event was to make the public aware and stop the abuse of dogs, including dogfights. “Dog-fighting is a serious offence that can land one in prison or having to pay a huge fine. It is also a form of abuse that terrifies dogs,” explains Sibanyoni, who organised a fun walk from Zone 7 Stadium and a tour around the township. The awareness campaign stunned many residents as dog sports are mainly dominated by the white community. “We want to create a level of understanding in the A dog fun-day was held at Zone 7 Stadium to educate resicommunity about dogs. Sibanyoni says the games were amateur-driven, though they are hoping for more people who come in and learn about dogs and how to treat them.
Dogs were given special treatment as on the day and they took centre stage by storm. Sibanyoni says there will be more dog-walks as the tour has already started in the neighbouring areas of Orange Farms and Soweto. “We are planning to come up with a huge tour soon that will include all the regions in Gauteng,” says the organiser.

Hunt on for rapists Lazarus Dithagiso
BOIPATONG. - Angry Tshepiso residents of Phase Five, especially women, have taken a stand to catch, fight and kill rapists. They say that rapists will now think twice before striking. Residents charge that, every week, a woman is attacked and raped. Some suspects are known and live in and around the community. Victims are ambushed in the tall grass when they go shopping. Two women aged between 18 and 25 were attacked with a knife and forced to strip off in a field. The incident happened between Phase 5 and Steel Park Road. One victim who cannot be named told Sedibeng Ster that it happened at about 11:45 on February 25 when they were crossing tall grass. They were heading for the R28 that led to Vereeniging. She explained that they were confronted by a middle-aged man coming out of the grass with a knife. “He said we must not to scream and we must obey instructions, or we were dead.
After we stripped off our clothes he totold us to lie on the ground,” said a victim. “He told us we must choose who comes first. While we were both reeling in shock, he took to the ground an 18-year-old woman. “He instructed me to look in the opposite direction. He was holding a knife in his other hand. He later put the knife on the ground while busy with my friend. Later he instructed me to squat on the ground, facing in their direction. Seeing that he was busy enjoying what he was doing,” said the victim, “I stood up slowly and hit the road while screaming. As he tried to chase me, my friend managed to stand up and escape. We left our clothes behind,” she said. “When I was about to reach the road, the suspect returned to the tall grass,” she adds. A passing taxi driver saw the incident and stopped to try and help the victim. Members of the public went back to search for the suspect, who had vanished without a trace. Constable Thembeka Koago said Police are still investigating and no-one has been arrested.

Police officers receive bribes from suspect
Lazarus Dithagiso
VANDERBIJLPARK. - Five high ranking members of the Public Order Police (Pop), allegedly received R4000 in bribes from the driver of a bakkie. These were aimed at dodging arrest. Four Warrant Officers and a Captain might find themselves in hot water pending the outcome of investigations. A case of fraud against the men in blue was registered at the Vanderbijlpark police station on March 3. The suspects briefly appeared at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates Court on March 4. They were all granted bail of R500 each after the case was postponed until April 14 for further investigations. Captain Paul Ramaloko, national spokesperson of the Hawks, has confirmed the arrests. He said on the day of the ordeal, the officers on duty stopped a bakkie transporting 10 sheep. They allegedly accused the driver of contravening the Animal Transport Act. Ramaloko said seeing that the driver failed to comply with the law the officers allegedly instructed him to pay R4000 cash or face immediate arrest.
The driver indeed paid the mentioned amount before he was freed. He later blew the whistle to the Police about the bribe. Two weeks later the officers decided to hand back the cash but it was too little too late. The Hawks were already on their heels. Other SAPS members were horrified by the incident. As a result the police have also instituted an internal disciplinary hearing against the members. Police said notices of suspension had not been served on the suspects and they are all back on duty. The suspects will know their fate immediately after proper investigation has been finalised. A docket has been given to a senior detective to investigate criminal charges, he said. It is not clear whether the case will also be handed to the Independent Police Investigate Directorate (IDIP) for further probe. The suspects are still to be served with suspension notices. Rumours are that the suspects (their names are known to Sedibeng Ster) are allegedly used to terrorising people, especially business people in the Vaal area.

SEBOKENG.- Ever since the Boikgethelo Secondary School moved to better premises in 2008 the vacant building left behind has been very problematic to the community of Zone 13. According to members of the community, the building is a high crime zone, housing drug abusers and stolen property. The thing that the community fears the most is the safety of the small children that pass through the building to go to the school that is right next to it which is Modishi-Lekashu Primary School. A concerned youth Melusi Msibi says, “As the unemployed youth of this area we would highly appreciate it if the building gets turned into a skills and development centre for the unemployed.”
Ward 32 councilor Anna Kgoali confirmed that there was a problem with the building. “This issue has been under discussion for a while to a point that we even asked the police to be involved. We are hoping for the building to be turned into a community centre, which will be used for developmental purposes for the good of the community.” “The building is now under Public works and in order for someting to be done the building would have to be handed over to the municipality” Kgoali concludes.

One of the biggest problems in Sicelo in the past regarding water has been the long waiting times at taps. The new standpipes, which have been funded by Midvaal Local Municipality, will be fed from a new enlarged pipe network. It will allow a faster flow of water, so that residents can fill utensils quickly and lessen the waiting time. The municipality is working closely with the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) members of Sicelo who are building the pipe network themselves. 28 EPWP residents have been hired as temporary workers and have received training and payment for the work they are doing. The municipality has also provided them with uniforms. An EPWP member has been appointed as foreman and another is the CLO. Five others are pipe fitters. The EPWP creates work for unemployed people. They also receive tools to excavate trenches and have been supplied with pipes. They have also been taught to join the pipes. Midvaal MMC for Engineering Councillor Malcolm Hack said that it is important that they involve the local community in these basic services projects to ensure that they take ownership of the new equipment, and look after it well and use it wisely. Water meters will be installed in the areas to monitor wastage and the water will be provided at no cost to residents.

MEYERTON. - Midvaal Local Municipality’s engineering department is hard at work installing new standpipes in the Sicelo area. The project to take more water to the people began on February 3 and is expected to be completed at the end of March. 40 new taps will be provided across the Eastern and Western areas of Sicelo, in order to improve access to this basic commodity.

Are you the judge now? 9R_Na\ @R_R_\
It has been two weeks now since the Oscar ‘Blade Runner’ Pistorius ‘Valentines Day’ murder trial has began and all eyes are fixed ton the small screen for the deliberations of this poor guy’s trial. We all know that Oscar shot Reeva, he argues that this was not intentional as he had thought that there was an intruder in the house. I am not going to play judge, jury or executioner here and and neither should you. A person is declared innocent until proven guilty in this country, which has one of the most democratic constitutions in the whole world. Everyone charged with any offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty according to law, in a public trial at which he or she has had all the guarantees necessary for his or her defence.
No-one can be held responsible for any penalty or offense on account of any act or omission which did not constitute an offence under our constitution at the time it was committed. As long as we continue to live as if we are what we do, what we have, and what other people think about us, we will remain filled with judgments, opinions, evaluations, and condemnations. We will remain addicted to putting people and things in their “right” place. For years the ‘Bladerunner’ was an idol to many, many of those are preparing for his downfall right now. How soon do people forget? Now, did Oscar shoot Reeva? Yes he did and he has said so himself. Was it intentional? This is the matter for the courts, I believe. South Africans are quick to judge, forgetting that they themselves are not perfect and have hidden skeletons which if revealed ito the public would make them the enemy. Before you judge Oscar, although you have probably already done so, go away and write down the four worst things you have done to others recently, even if - especially if - they do not know about them. Don’t dress things up, or try to explain them; just write them down, in a list, in the plainest language possi-
Maimane visits Vaal

BOIPATONG.- Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng Premier Candidate Mmusi Maimane last week visited the communities of Sharpeville and Boipatong. The visit forms part of Maimane’s tour across Gauteng. During this time he will listen to communities from all corners of Gauteng and ask them about their hopes for the future of the Gauteng province. Maimane urged the people of Boipatong to vote for a change, stating that in order for things to change, people had to change and use their votes. The people of Boipatong raised their concerns about the lack of service delivery, poverty, the high rate of unemployment and lack of of entrepreneurial opportunities. “Most of us here are unemployed, permanent job opportunities are slow to come by.”

the community members stated, adding that government’s pledge to create employment was a much needed initiative though the 6-month contract was short and would leave many more unemployed. “The Democratic Alliance has proposed a two-year youth wage subsidy, which will give the youth a chance of learning and gaining work experience for 2 years before they are sent out to go job hunting. Much better than the current 6- month contracts that the government is giving to the unemployed.” said Maimane. This came after a resident complained about her contract ending after only 6 months of working. Maimane stated that there were a lot of improvements that needed to be made in the Vaal. “Coming to the Vaal should not be like going to the rural areas where there are no proper road structures and tar roads, but this is exactly the kind of experience people get when they come here. “There are no roads and the service delivery here is slow.” he stated.

Roshnee Islamic School inaugurates new LRC Lazarus Dithagiso
ROSHNEE. - Former African National Congress activist and diplomat, Moosa Moola, has pleaded with Roshnee Islamic School learners to follow in the good footsteps of the late Walter Sisulu and Nelson Mandela. He said those were the leaders who stood the test of time during the then government. Moosa was a guest speaker during the Learner Shura Council known as Learner Representative Council (LRC) 2014 inauguration recently. “Mandela is a leader who clearely believed in reconciliation, in forgiveness and in forgetting what the previous government did,” said Moosa. Roshnee Islamic School believes in the motto ‘Religion is advice, knowledge is light and ignorance is darkness.’ “Mandela said apartheid should never hold grudges against any South Africans. An inferior complex played a mayor
role against blacks, coloureds and Indians,” said Moosa adding that no African child was allowed to study the courses they wanted. The government would always choose the subjects deemed good for you. The mission was to cut the wings to avoid getting better education. “Today we are part of our own, we cannot live in isolation. When we fought for freedom, we were not in isolation,” He says. Moosa said when the leaders comes from exile, they believe in building the country together by tolerating without hatred. Tareeq Saley and Saajidah Patel are the Head boy and Head girl, while Abu Bakr Gaffaar and Sabeeha Desai were elected deputy Head boy and Head girl respectively.

Philadelphia changes people’s lives
Mduduzi Mathebula
SHARPEVILLE. – As the Bible states, the hand that gives is the blessed hand. The Holy Philadelphia Apostolic Church Tshepiso recently shared its good news with those who are sick. The church vowed to reach out to the community to give to those who are sick at Tshepiso Clinic. This initiative was embraced by Arch Bishop Abel Tlhanyane. According to the church this plan was long overdue. On Tuesday, church members marched to the clinic to give their helping hand to the sick. Bread and soup was handed to the patients. Reverend Theo Seya, the Church General Secretary, says they thought of cooking
and giving food to the sick as Jesus did. “We are showing our part of social responsibility to the community by giving back to the community. As the church it’s our responsibility to serve the community. It is hard for a patient to wait for medication on an empty stomach,” says Seya. Sister Mosikatsane Celi says they are very grateful for the church initiative and the efforts to help their patients. “It is a great massion for the church to assist the community where they can, as the purpose of their helping hand is to reach to those who are in need,” says Mosikatsane. Seya says they even share the word of God with the patients during their visits. Seya quoted John 1-10.

SEBOKENG. - Third Zone Youth Development Organisation formed a structure that helps its own community by fighting health hazards. These young people formed a group that included parents around the area in Zone 3. Their initial stumbling block was a dump site that had become ‘criminal’ territory. Group representative Sunny Malindi says they could not live in a dirty place. “The dump site was just fighting against our health. We needed to act. We did not want to wait for the government to do something, but we knew we were the affected people. We were obliged to act and find a solution,” says
Malindi. Apparently the dump site was next to the shopping centre. Malindi says they could not buy food next to such a filthy place. He added that criminals and drug addicts were using the place as a hot spot. “We needed to intervene and act fast for the sake of our health and community. “The dump site was turned into a playground. We are encouraging these drug addicts to come and play soccer, basketball or any sporting code,” Malindi said.

Smutsies conquer new frontiers VEREENIGING. - “We are so often overcome by negative sentiments concerning our youth that we forget what they can accomplish with guidance from a dedicated staff and management.” This is according to Alette de Klerk, the spectator and cheerleader-coordinator of General Smuts High School. “The Smuts spectators and cheerleaders are a shining example of the positive qualities in the South African youth,” De Klerk said. The Smutsies took their spectator and athletic performance to new heights using an aeronautical theme that was reflected in the T-shirts, hats, decor and even an “almost” life-size aeroplane. The “Smuts New Frontiers Plane”, built by André Minnie, combined with their amazing cheerleaders and spectator team was an unforgettable performance. The school blazers are a symbol of the proud Smutsie tradition and formed an integral part of the shapes and patterns created by the spectators on the stands. A combination of tradition and innovation is what makes the Smuts spectator group unique. Participation in this event provides 200 learners with the opportunity to feel a sense of pride in their school. “It is not only the fun that learners have that motivates our staff to work so hard at making this a success but also the fact that it channels their energies in a positive avenue and ensures that negative activities become less appealing,” Mr Bartie, princi-

pal of the school, said “Our consistently outstanding performances at the inter high schools athletic meetings shows that Conquering New Frontiers is a life-long pursuit that will never fail us and will create a brighter, more positive future for our youth,” De Klerk concluded.
Highveld Horse Care Unit needs help Izolde Pistorius
MEYERTON. - The Highveld Horse Care Unit needs the help of the public to look after abandoned and ill-treated horses and donkeys. Situated in 42 Maanhaarjakkals Street, Valley Settlements, it is one of three specialised units in the country. It falls under the National Horse Trust. The unit was originally established in 1991 on small premises at the back of the Vereeniging SPCA. The need for funds to open a specialised unit was recognised by the horse-racing industry which still contributes funds to the unit’s operating costs. In 1993, the racing industry donated the Highveld Farm of 32 acres with 25 stables just outside Meyerton. There are 18 staff members and four inspectors. Calls have been carried out as far as Messina, Kimberley and Bloemfontein and virtually every town in between. Due to a lack of resources, the unit can only attend to emergencies in townships. Abattoir inspections, the illegal bush slaughter of horses and donkeys, monitoring security horses, riding schools, stud farms and complaints are part of a normal day’s work for them. A large number of court cases have been successfully prosecuted. The unit also relocates horses which the owner can no longer keep. Each horse that is adopted or fostered through the unit, goes out on a special policy, and is monitored for the rest of its life.
They are very busy in the winter, when owners cannot give supplementary feed or shelter. They are then inundated with reports of starving horses all over the country. At times last winter, they had 85 horses in their care. “We would not be able to manage without the generous aid of our supporters. We ask the public to report to us when horses are illtreated, undernourished or injured. “We also give advice to owners, or they can contact us when their horses are lost or stolen,” says Nadia Saunderson, Manager of the HHCU. They can be contacted on (016) 360 9900, or 082 921 1644, which is also the emergency number.
Although desperate to cover townships up until now, they have only been able to attend to emergencies due to lack of resources.

Liquor traders still in the dark
Mduduzi Mathebula
BOIPATONG. - The President of Nafcoc Sedibeng & chairman of South African Leisure Tourism and Hospitality (SALTHA) in Sedibeng Bongani Dlamini encouraged all Sedibeng liquor permit-holders to apply for transfer of their permits into permanent liquor licenses as per the Gauteng Liquor Act. On Friday the chairman addressed big liquor traders in the Boipatong Hall about becoming permanently licensed. It has been a problematic issue over the years for liquor traders, as their permits expire time and again. The issue has also been featured by Sedibeng Ster on numerous occasions. At the meeting Dlamini urged all liquor traders to abide by the law. It is in their best interest to apply for a permanent liquor license which traders say is hard to clinch. A well-known liquor trader Apolo Sandamela says the liquor board is taking them from pillar to post on this matter. “We are living through this business and it has Bongani Dlamini, President of Nafcoc Sedibeng & chairman of SALTHA, encourages liquor traders to change their permits into permanent liquor licenses. created professional people, but the government seems to be to take us for a ride,” says Sandamela. Dlamini says SALTHA, the tourism sector in NAFCOC, is going to ensure that this message reaches all Sedibeng Liquor traders, and finds a way to help traders in Sedibeng.

A patron in the community Moleboheng Chaha
VANDERBIJLPARK. - Fabrice Facar has for years been involved in community and charity work, helping to improve the lives of others. Facar was last week honoured by the Emfuleni Shelter For Boys as a patron who has served the shelter for over 15 years. This is not the first time Facar has obtained such an award. In 2008 he was also declared Patron of the Vanderbijpak Public Library. Founder of the shelter Dimakatso Morobi says, “Fabrice has done
wonderful things for the shelter. Even when we had no funding, he would always come and help us out with much needed things. He is always willing to spend his time helping us out here at the shelter.” Morobi adds that Facar has always dedicated his time and services as a volunteer social worker and that this has gotten him a place as an ambassador of the shelter. Facar says, “I am very grateful for the award. It has been my duty to serve the Vaal community for years and I am appreciative of the experience.”
EVATON.- “The story about Evaton undoubtedly deserves to be told,” says Portia Kgosi, the project and marketting co-ordinator of Motswako Performing Artists. This is after the crew revealed that their latest musical dubbed ‘Evaton’ would be showcased for the first time at the Vereeniging Civic Theatre from the 17th to the 23 March. The musical is said to depict the journey travelled by many Evaton citizens who saw the area move from being a Wildebeesfontein farm to where it is today. “The history of Evaton makes it deserving of development, but not much improvements have been done in this area. It is not as popular as the other places so we thought it crucial to tell this story, not only to the Vaal community but to the world.” Kgosi states that the story of Evaton has never been told before, which is why they chose to go with this abstract and unique topic. “The Evaton Musical is one of its kind. It highlights the traditions, diverse cultural and spiritual significances.” Kgosi adds. The musical will portray the different issues the community faced back in those days. Issues such
as pass laws, forced removal and land restitution. Actors Malefatsane Ntoahae and Cecelia Mphore who are both dancers, state that the musical aims not only to entertain but to also educated young people about the rich history Evaton Builds. “The People of Evaton have al-

SEDIBENG. – Thabang Molebeli, a young aspiring producer from Vaal ‘Top’ Location in Sharpeville set the bar high when he unleashed yet another film masterpiece for Lokshin Bioskop. The film was shot all over the Vaal. Molibeli used local actresses and actors. The production team boasted directors well known in the entertainment industry. Sedibeng Ster was given an exclusive pass on set. The movie “Uninvited Woman” involves characters played by Mandisa Nduna, a household name in Lokshin Bioskop. Producer Molibeli says he is happy with the outcome. The movie was finished by the end of February and all thanks should go to the Sharpeville community and Vaal as a whole. “It was a tough project. However, we managed to orchestrate our masterpiece and do it justice,” says Molibeli. The movie is directed by Zuko Nodada from KZN and his first assistant - Charles Khuele - the Vaal’s pride. The Vaal was also represented by Papi Lethoba who will appear as an investigative officer. Lethoba is known for the role he plays with Senyaka in ‘Moruti wa tsotsi’. Nodada says viewers can just tune in and see great minds that think alike.

Drug addiction is demonic SEBOKENG. - The Toughest Young Minds reveals to the public that drug addiction not only impairs the physical as it also destroys mind and soul. Sedibeng Ster visited one of many programmes the organisation conducts, including the spiritual therapy held every Thursday by Pastor Sunnyboy Mankhoe. He says it is vital for the public to know more about the ‘nyaope’ addict on a spiritual level. Before speaking to this man of the cloth we had an exclusive interview with Tshegofatso Botlhoko, a social worker. “Rehabilitation programmes require much time and dedication. Addicts need to be willing to take what is necessary to be helped. We conduct thorough intensive pre-counselling. We have to allocate a new lifestyle in order for the healing
process to begin. We need considerable time to prepare the patient for the healing process,” says Botlhoko. She adds that during rehabilitation the addict needs to be sober for at least five days before and during the programme. “The medication for rehabilitation is very expensive and it’s also dangerous to a person who doesn’t follow all the rules. Methodone is a drug-free medication and, if a patient mixes it with any kind of drug, that patient could lose his life,” she warns. Mankhoe says intensive research by the TYM organisation has revealed that an addict does not fully reach a state of rehabilitation because spiritual healing needs to be dealt with. “Nyaope or any other drug is spirit-driven and rehabilitation requires spiritual cleansing,” says Mankhoe. He says these drugs are blood-transmitted, and it is blood that houses Spirit.

D PHYSIC MAMA SHAKIRA 061 699 7736 EA IS THIS 1 DAY SPECIAL PRAYER FIXED ALL MY R H MARRIAGE & FINANCIAL PROBLEMS IN 1 DAY T 6 Years before I met this powerful spiritual woman Shakira, I was UNHAPPY because my husband was cheating on me, our kids were always sickly and I had no-money! I tried everything from healers, priests & gurus but nothing seemed to work for me. I only wasted money. Luckily I saw two testimonials on a local T.V station by an OLD MAN whose son Shakira had saved from DRUG and ALCOHOL ABUSE and a DIVORCED LADY Shakira had RE-UNITED with her EX-HUSBAND after 9-years.

ACCURATELY READ MY FORTUNE and told me all my problems before I spoke a word to her. She used a mirror to SHOW FACES OF PEOPLE who were trying to pull me down. She performed a 1 day special prayer for me, cleansed me from bad-luck and also gave me powerful love-crystals, Indian ash plus a special-ring to fix my financial problems. WITHIN 3 DAYS OF Shakira’s PRAYERS, my husband CONFESSED EVERYTHING and asked for FORGIVENESS. My kids are now healthy and I recently got a SENIOR JOB PROMOTION. ARE YOU FEELING TOTALLY HELPLESS, HEART-BROKEN & FINANCIALLY MISERABLE? IS THE SITUATION GETTING WORSE? DON’T LOSE HOPE!! I have referred Shakira to many people & she has delivered results for them within few days. She can help you too!!

SEDIBENG RINGBAL Not all of you can be Jose BIED AAN SUPER 10 LIGA Mourinho’s of this world 15 Maart, 2014 Boiketlong Saal Sasolburg
If all the development coaches want to coach in the SAB League and Vodacom League in this region – who will coach the youngsters? Shooting From The Hip is quite aware that some of the development coaches have neglected the youngsters because they are so ambitious to coach at the highest level. The only thing that affects the standard of our junior league is that the development coaches want to be the Jose Mourinho’s of this world. What about our youth? There is nothing wrong when coaches dream big, but all of a sudden everyone wants to coach in SAB League and Vodacom League. The question that Shooting From The Hip is asking is, ‘If the development coaches give up on our talent, who will be there for these youngsters? Some of these boys have since decided to quit the sport that they grew up loving, but not anymore. In case those development coaches are not aware – these youngsters want to be appreciated. They want somebody who will appreci-
ate their talent. For example the Promotion League has started and now you will see the junior soccer teams suffering. For the past two weeks youngsters have been enjoying themselves with the Safa Sedibeng Junior League in full swing. Shooting From The Hip can only wish that the development coaches will honour the fixtures until the end of the season. The biggest challenge in this region is that every time the Promotion League starts the development coaches forget about the junior soccer teams. The reason being: they want to win the promotion league. The truth of the matter is that some of the coaches will continue to lose players to opposition teams, not because these youngsters are after material things, but because they want their talent to be appreciated. Again, the development thinking is wrong – they think to build the house one must start with the roof! HELL NO! How many times has Shooting From The Hip have been saying this: When you build the house the first thing you have to do is build a solid foundation – this is exactly what is supposed to happen with football in this region. Shooting From The Hip has no problem when development coaches challenge the league title, but they must do so without neglecting these youngsters. Coaches throw these youngsters into the deep end and they will learn how to swim on their own. We can’t all be the Mourinho’s of this world.

Katza’s visit excites youngsters Breaking bricks in style Zacharia Nale
SEDIBENG.- Excitement was written all over to the faces of the young Emfuleni soccer stars when SuperSport United Development Coach Ricardo Katza attended Safa Sedibeng’s Stream A junior league at Shakespeare Stadium on Sunday.in the region to identify talent for ‘Matsatsantsa’ as SuperSport are affectionately known. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sports, Katza says he was impressed by the quality of football displayed by youngsters on the day. He said he was convinced that Vaal is blessed when it comes to talent. “ It is well known that this region is one
of the best regions when it comes to producing soccer stars. “Look at players such as Bennet Chenene, Thabo Moloi, Abia Nale and others. “They come from this region and I’m not surprised to see this kind of talent today. Real Hearts aim for back-to-back league victory Zacharia Nale
SEDIBENG. - It has never happened before in the history of local football that a newly promoted team wins the league back-to-back. However, Real Hearts FC seems to be on the way to re-claim the Safa Sedibeng SAB League title once again this season. Last season Real Hearts were crowned the SAB League champions in this region, however the team failed to gain promotion during the promotional play-offs. This Ratanda based team is the current log leaders with 32 from 13 games, but VUT FC is breathing heavily on their necks with the same number of points, the only difference between the two is that ‘The Students’ have played more games compared to their counterparts - Real Hearts. Real Hearts FC continued with their impressive form when they walloped Hillside United FC 4-0 in a one-sided Safa Sedibeng SAB League match played at Zone 7 Stadium over the weekend. The second placed VUT FC also put pressure at the top when they beat the struggling Sebokeng Ajax FC 3 - 0 in another Safa Sedibeng SAB League match played at Isak Steyl Stadium on Friday, while third placed - Vaal Milano beat Try Me Again FC 1-0. The Sharpeville based side still has two games in hands after accumulating 30 points from 12 games.
Mighty Blues FC’s recent form is nothing to take note of by occupying the fourth spot on the log with 24 points from 13 games. Sebokeng Real Barcelona FC is sixth on the log with 23 points from 12 games.
The rest of the weekend results: Reki Manyora FC 1-2 RC RESA Sailor FC 4 - 2 United Scientists FC Ghetto Seven FC 2 - 1 Verona FC Mighty Blues 3 - 2 Central United FC

SEBOKENG.- Sparks will fly when local karatekas exchange blows when Vaal-Dojo Kyokushin hosts a karate tournament scheduled to take place at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14 next month. According to the organisers it will be a demonstration of breaking bricks, roof-tiles and tiles as training techniques in karate. This much anticipated tournament promises to attract karatekas from as far as Bloemfontein, Pretoria, East Rand, Sasolburg, Thembisa and other neighbouring areas. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sports, Sensei Papi Mokoena urges Sedibeng people to come and see karate at its best on April 5. He says this promises to be the best karate tournament to be held in this region in a long time. Mokoena will be among the local karatekas who will be competing in this forthcoming tournament. ‘Our mission is to promote this sport in Sedibeng. People think football is the only popular sport in this region, but I believe karate is one sport that brings people together. We appeal to all the Sedibeng people to come in numbers to support the initiative,’ says Mokoena.
