Praying for healing, praying for change By Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
(Seguin) -- The city of Seguin turned to prayer Monday night in downtown Seguin. Residents stood along South River Street -- raising their hands and lifting the members of the Seguin Police Department and Seguin Fire/EMS Department in prayer. Those prayer blessings, however, went beyond the local law enforcement community. The gathering was organized to pray for the life of George Floyd, his family and for all the lives lost or injured in nationwide riots. It was also organized to help strengthen the hearts of all those who are in pain, wounded and broken.
