From there, your designer will visit your home to explore its architectural features and get a sense for how you want to live in the space. They‘ll craft a personalized presentation, including an incredible 3D preview of their proposed design, and work with you until the details are just right.

In search of an interior designer who could make their resort property feel like a year-round home, a Florida couple visited Ethan Allen in Orlando. There, they met multi-Spirit Award winner Austin Hippchen, whose creative skill and passion for timeless design made them say, “He’s the one!”
Their project began in the formal dining room. There, Austin sought to create a space where intimate, at-home gatherings felt luxurious, and that meant pulling out all the stops when tapping into Ethan Allen’s custom capabilities. “I wanted to give them a level of customization and design you can’t get anywhere else.”
The client was drawn to our Heirloom rug, so he infused blue throughout the space. The interplay of deep wood finishes and the lighter, floral fabric he chose for the custom drapery allowed those striking tones to shine. Another
place they shone: the room’s eye-catching custom Yves and Adrian dining chairs. “I love a dual fabric anywhere I can add one, and it’s the small details that give any piece a wow factor.”
For Austin, the dining room was a labor of love—a real chance to exercise his creativity. “I don’t normally get emotional on delivery day, but I actually got teary-eyed when I saw this room, because it was just beautiful. This,” he adds with pride, “is an award-winning space.”
