We met last year with the theme of ‘New Era, New Start’. How do we do ‘New Start’? This year, we would like to suggest a solution to that question. The 22nd Seoul Cafe Show suggests ‘Coexistence’. With this keyword, we select this year’s theme ‘Blend New, Brand New’. Coffee cannot stand alone as well as Seoul Cafe Show. Its value can be greater and sustainable through coexistence. According to the theme of this event, we released four posters and animation video that express elements surrounding coffee, industry, and culture in a fun way. In the video, many elements rotate around the coffee cup, constantly expanding into different shapes. Perhaps it is the way we could move forward : to meet different ideas and make a new world through coffee. At the 2023 Seoul Cafe Show, 3,750 brands from 675 companies from 36 countries will participate to present trends in the global cafe and coffee industry. We welcome visitors with a variety of programs, including not only the world’s best professional coffee conference and “World Coffee Leaders Forum”, “World Coffee Battle” and other competitions where you can meet world-class baristas, but also “Seoul Coffee Festival”, “Cherry’s Choice” introducing popular and new products in the coffee industry, and “Excellence Awards” to develop new business opportunities for industry professionals. The World Latte Art Battle, which is held as a global online and offline survival, is a more interesting program because you can feel the passion of baristas at home and abroad as well as colorful latte art. A total of 32 baristas from online preliminaries will play a tournament-style contest and select the last surviving champion. In particular, this year, the Seoul Café Show finals, which started from the round of 16, will start from the round of 32.
