classificaÇÃo indicatiVa: liVre Parental rating: all ages colaborador de tatsumi Hijikata, o bailarino e coreógrafo japonês Kazuo ohno (1906-2010) está intimamente ligado à fundação do butô, dança surgida no Japão do pós-guerra. o artista figura no centro do Dispositivo Móvel Ohno. uma estrutura metálica que lembra carroças funciona como espaço de documentação, proposições e provocações. Nela são exibidos pôsteres, fotografias e vídeos ligados ao trabalho de Kazuo ohno. o dispositivo contém livros, jornais, documentos e outros materiais sobre o bailarino. a intenção é promover encontros e gerar discussões em torno da obra do artista, para que o arquivo não seja encarado como morto e inerte, mas, ao contrário, como dinâmico e permeável às influências e às contribuições do público. segundo a proposta do Dispositivo Móvel Ohno, “propor e provocar são formas de não ‘deificar’ e de reforçar a ideia de arquivo e da história como algo já dado e finito. o Dispositivo Móvel, em sua arquitetura, estará construído para dispor de todos os itens daquele acervo como proposições abertas e convites a sua leitura, invenção e reinvenção”.

a collaborator of tatsumi Hijikata, the Japanese dancer and choreographer Kazuo ohno (1906-2010) is intimately connected to the foundation of butoh, a dance that appeared in post-war Japan. the artist acts in the center of the Dispositivo Móvel Ohno. a metal structure that reminds of wagons works as a space of documentation, propositions and provocations. in it are displayed posters, photos and videos linked to Kazuo ohno’s work. the device contains books, newspapers, a number of documents and other materials about the dancer. this way, it aims to promote encounters and generate discussions around the artist’s work, so that the archive is not seen as dead and inert, rather, as dynamic and permeable to the public’s influences and contributions. according to the proposal of the Dispositivo Móvel Ohno, “proposing and provoking are ways not to ‘deify’ and to reinforce the idea of the archive and the history as something already accomplished and finite. the Mobile Device, in its architecture, will be built to have all of its items as open propositions and as an invite to its reading, invention and reinvention”.
