SCHILDTS & SÖDERSTRÖMS
Hi there, Time for English! Dags för engelska! Välkommen till Thank you! 4! Tips! Sist i varje kapitel hittar du More FUN. Good luck! Christa & Lisette
Dear teacher, Thank you! Good luck! Christa & Lisette

Adhar's space travel Adhar is flying around in outer space in his rectangular spaceship. When he looks out of his square window he sees a cone-shaped comet fly by. It is yellow, red and orange. He is not close to the sun, but he feels the heat radiating from its round shape. He sees a silvery sphere that must be the moon. He flies to Earth. He sees a big meteor with a long bright flame enter the Earth’s atmosphere. He wants to visit the triangular continent that is very warm. He can’t remember what it’s called. Can you? Do you know its name?

Fabulous Molly
Our dog’s name is Molly. We’re very proud of Molly. She’s three years old. Molly is black with some white on her tummy and paws. She likes to carry toys around in her mouth and go for walks. Her favourite place is the dog park. It’s a large area that has a fence around it. At the dog park Molly can meet Piper, her best friend. They’re happy when they can run and play together.

A 1.1-kg phone
Before 1973, portable telephones were installed in cars and other vehicles and they were called car phones. Motorola was the first company to make a handheld cellular phone. On April 3, 1973, Martin Cooper made the first mobile telephone call from a handheld phone. He called Dr Joel S. Engel of Bell Labs, his rival. The phone weighed 1.1 kg and was 23 cm long, 13 cm deep and 4.45 cm wide. Talk time was 20 minutes and it took 10 hours to recharge.

Elsi:
I live in a row house outside the town

outside. We are in the middle, so we
share a wall with both our neighbours.
Oliver: I don’t live in the same town as Max

My mom, my dad and I live in a duplex.
