A Regular meeting of the Housing Authority Commission of the City and County of San Francisco met at 440 Turk Street, San Francisco, California, on Thursday, February 11, 2010, at 4:00 p.m.

President Brown called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.

ROLL CALL PRESENT:

Rev. Amos Brown, President Neola Gans, Vice President Jane Hsu, Commissioner Millard Larkin, Commissioner Matthew Schwartz, Commissioner Dwayne Jones, Commissioner( arrived at 4:31pm)

NOT PRESENT:

George Brown, Commissioner

A quorum was present.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA Commissioner Larkin motioned to approve the agenda. Commissioner Hsu seconded the motion. The agenda was approved unanimously.

GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS/ REPORT OF SECRETARY Henry Alvarez, Executive Director informed the Commission that they could find information regarding the HOPE SF transformations. He also informed the Commissioners that HUD will be issuing the Sole-Source Procurement approval on Alice Griffith very soon., as an email confirmation was received by staff.

COMMITTEE REPORTS There were no Committee Reports.

REPORT OF GENERAL COUNSEL

Mr. Roger Crawford, Acting Director of Human Resources informed the Commission that there would be a Closed Session to discuss labor negotiations and pending litigation.

TENANT REPRESENTATIVE REPORT No one was present from City-wide Senior Disabled.

Kimberly Hill-Brown, was not present at the meeting. Ramona Collie reported in her absence on a PHTA and SFHA financial training.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS There was no unfinished business.

NEW BUSINESS CONSENT AGENDA NOTE:

All matters listed hereunder constitute a Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the San Francisco Housing Authority Board and will be acted upon by a single vote of the Authority Board. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a member of the Authority Board so request, in which event the matter shall be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item.

A) ACTION ITEMS 1. [Hope SF Update] Information Presentation Two presentations were given updating the Commission on the HOPE SF projects at the following locations: Potrero Terrace and Annex- Bridge Housing Alice Griffith- SF Redevelopment Agency

COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS AND REPORTS President Brown acknowledged and applauded the finished product of the work of Commissioner Jones.

CLOSED SESSION A Closed Session was scheduled with the Executive Director and Agency Counsel under Government Code Section 54957(b)(1), 54956.9, 54957.6 to update the Commission on personnel issues, pending litigation and labor negotiations. The Commission went into Closed Session at 5:40 p.m. Present were President Brown, Vice President Gans, Commissioner Schwartz, Commissioner Hsu and Commissioner Larkin.

ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Commission, Vice President Gans motioned to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Larkin seconded the motion. Vice President Gans adjourned the Commission Meeting of February 25, 2010, at 6:42 p.m.
