Housing Authority staff responded that the EIV system was implemented because it was required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mr. Tom Battipaglia, RAB, referred to Pg. 112 What is title V of Older Americans act of 1985 and what does is entail. Mrs. Martin-Mason took note of the question. Ms. Jerry Hayes, RAB, referred to pg. 145 regarding the payment standard what is the difference between #1 and #2. Mrs. Martin-Mason took note of the question. Mr. Francis, RAB, stated that he received a notice from his building stating that the building is full of cancer causing agents and asked what the protocol would be for this. Mr. Musallam, Supervisor, Housing Choice Voucher Program, responded that it is the obligation of the participant to provide the Housing Choice Voucher Department with the notice and allow the Housing Choice Voucher Department to determine what is needed. Mr. Schlotterbeck, RAB, asked what the notice requirement is for pesticide spraying? Mrs. Martin-Mason took note of the question. Meeting adjourned.
