Item 3:
Public Comments on items not on the agenda
Commenter, Stephen Cashman, resident at 666 Ellis Street complained that there was confusion and lack of communication regarding the recall elections for CCSD. Mr. Cashman stated that the attorney for CCSD did not allow Dorothy Raimey, former president of CCSD, the right to speak and didn’t abide by any HUD rules. Mr. Cashman suggested that the rules should be followed and serious changes should be made. Commenter, Healani Ting, resident at Park Merced, claimed that many low income, disabled and SSI residents of Park Merced were targeted for eviction because Park Merced wants demolish those properties. Ms. Ting suggested that there should be someone to speak for (represent) the residents of Park Merced regarding this matter.
Commenter, John Dorcy, expressed that he does not understand the details of the Housing Authority Budget remarks. Commenter, Rita Lark, stated that she received an invitation to view a unit but, upon arrival, found out the unit was not ready for move-in. Ms. Lark requested a unit that she can move into immediately. Item 4:
Secretary’s Report The Secretary reported that on March 16th, he will be meeting with the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Public Housing, Sandra Henriquez, to discuss more resources for the Housing Authority. Further, the Secretary would be returning to Washington D.C. to discuss the same topics with the National Congressional Delegation.

Tenant Representative Report 1. Citywide Council Senior Disabled (CCSD) Beverly Saba, President of Resident Advisory Board, requested that any concerns that arise pertaining to the recall nominations be expedited as soon as possible. Ms. Saba announced that there was an election at 330 Clementina and it now has a full board. Ms. Saba announced that on Monday, March 12th CCSD will have its general meeting and that Anthony Ihejeto, Florence Cheng, Tm Larsen and Barbara Smith have agreed to be present to discuss resident concerns. 2. Commissioner Safai asked what the process of hiring residents to work on this project would be. Mr. Mark responded that DPW has hired, and continues to prioritize the hiring, of Housing Authority residents as full-time employees. Public Comment: none Motion:

2. [Resolution Authorizing The Executive Director To Execute The Declaration Of Restrictive Covenants For The Development And Operation Of Housing As A Condition Of The California Department Of Housing Community Development Infill Infrastructure Grant Program For The Hunters View Phase IB Project.] Presented by Barbara Smith, Housing Development & Modernization Manager Commissioner Safai asked if it is normal for the request to be made now. Ms. Smith responded in the affirmative. Commissioner Safai asked why the Authority is allowing the recordation of a lien. Ms. Smith agreed with Commissioner Safai but stated that it is the Authority’s intent to carry out the intent of the restrictive covenants. Public Comment: none Motion:

Commissioner Hunnicutt moved to accept minutes Commissioner Safai seconded the motion Vote: All approved Commissioners Comments Commissioner Safai stated he will be attending the good jobs green jobs conference in Los Angeles being sponsored by Emerald Cities. Commissioner Safai expressed interested in exploring various employment opportunities for individuals in the green collar industry.
