TEE MARKERS: All Male Professionals playing in the Championship Division will play from the SFPGA BLACK tee markers. All Male Professionals playing in just the Senior Division will play from the SFPGA WHITE tee markers. All Female Professionals will play from the golf course GREEN tee markers. WATER HAZARDS: All lateral hazards are identified by red stakes and defined by red lines. In the absence of a red line and when stakes are present, the waters edge or the cart path defines the margin of the hazard. OUT OF BOUNDS: Defined by white stakes, perimeter property fencing and public roads. In addition, any ball coming to rest above the waters edge on the non-golf course side of a lateral water hazard is out of bounds (right side of #2, 3, 4, 6, 14, 15, 18 and the left side of #2, 5, 6, 8, 13, 15, 16, 17). The inside edge (golf course side) of the pedestrian sidewalk defines out of bounds on #3 and #18. EDGING GROOVES – FRINGE: The grooves around the fringe of the putting greens are ground under repair. However, interference by a groove with the player’s stance is deemed not to be, of itself, interference under Rule 25-1. If the ball lies in or touches the groove or the groove interferes with the area of the player’s intended swing, relief is available under Rule 25-1. NON PAVED CART TRAILS & WASTE AREAS: All non-paved cart path trails and waste areas of orange crushed shell are deemed to be integral parts of the course. No free relief is available.
