WATER HAZARDS: All lateral hazards are identified by red stakes and defined by red lines. In the absence of a red line and when stakes are present, the waters edge of the cart path defines the margin of the hazard.

COQUINA SHELL AREAS: Deemed to be an integral part of course. No free relief available. TIES: Ties for the Overall Champion, Senior Division Champion and Low Amateur will be broken via a sudden death playoff immediately after the completion of play. All other ties will result in splitting of the purse.

LIFT, CLEAN & PLACE IN EFFECT FOR TODAY'S ROUND: LIFT, CLEAN, AND PLACE: The SFPGA lift, clean, and place policy is in effect in all "closely mown areas" on the hole you are playing. “Closely mown area” means an area of the course, including paths through the rough, cut to fairway height or less. After marking the position of the ball, the player may lift, clean, and must then place the ball on a spot within one SFPGA scorecard length of and not nearer the hole than where it originally lay, that is not in a hazard and not on a putting green.

OUT OF BOUNDS: In addition to item #9 on the SFPGA Rules of Play Card, any ball coming to rest above the waters edge on the non-golf course side of a lateral water hazard is out of bounds.
