Transaero airlines took another important step in the realization of the program for the implementation of the most advanced iPad technology as an EFB (EFB – Electronic Flight Bag) on its aircrafts. In September 2013, Transaero was the first passenger airline company in Russia to receive operational approval from the Federal Air Transport Agency to use the iPad as an EFB Class 1. Summing up the pilots’ experience, Transaero has now began a new phase: EFB Class 2 implementation. This means that all documents will be in electronic form at all stages of the flight. Thus, the pilots will have the information on the moment-to-moment position of the aircraft for interactive route maps and charts of the aerodrome on their iPad screen. Usage of the most advanced corporate iPad will allow “Transaero”flight crews: - to improve technological processes within the company due to the transition to electronic documentation; - to improve fuel efficiency by reducing the weight of onboard documentation, the updating of the operational flight plan and the weather information; - to improve the working conditions of flight crews by reducing the time necessary for obtaining documentation from

TRANSAERO IS THE OFFICIAL TRANSPORTER OF JET EXPO

TRANSAERO HAS BEEN CERTIFIED F O R T R A N S P O R TAT I O N O F G O O D S TO THE EUROPEAN UNION

Transaero won the right to carry freight transport to EU countries from its main airports – Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Pulkovo. As the third largest cargo air carrier in Russia, Transaero has offered its customers timely and reliable delivery of goods to the EU with a guarantee of fulfilment of all its obligations. During five months in 2014 Transaero carried more than 20,000 tons of cargo and mail on domestic routes, and 6,000 tons on international ones. This was a 10 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Transaero transports the major part of its cargo in the cargo holds of passenger aircrafts. The company also has two specialized cargo aircrafts Tu-204-100C in its park. THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AVIATION EXPO JET EXPO 2014 WILL TAKE PLACE IN MOSCOW IN THE BEGINNING OF AUTUMN. TRANSAERO IS THE OFFICIAL TRANSPORTER OF THE EVENT. Business aviation is one of the world’s fastest growing markets. It is an industry with special airports, technical and design centers, and an estimated annual value of 1.5 trillion dollars. Russia is one of the top countries where the market is growing steadily. So another Jet Expo is more than just a tradition. Among the companies taking part are widelyaccepted trend-setters in business aviation: Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, Embraer, Bell Helicopter, Cessna and others. At the Center of Business-aviation Vnukovo from the 4th through to the 6th of September over 30 different airplanes will be displayed: from small jets Cessna and luxury helicopters Bell Helicopter to the Airbus and Embarer mega liners. The organisers predict that it will be the biggest Jet Expo, both in terms of visitors and participants. Participants consider Jet Expo first and foremost as a chance of transitioning to an international level of business contacts; showing Russian technology to the world; giving western partners an opportunity to see the robustness of the Russian

business climate; finding international funding; and furthering the development of Russian business aviation’s infrastructure. It is interesting to note that the largest flight companies are starting to compete with the main business operators, giving passengers a respectable level of service on their flights. Now the largest companies compete in the configuration of first class service. If before individual service was most important, now premium passengers have a chance to use a full set of business instruments. Most frequent fliers are businessmen who are used to spending every minute with purpose. This level of service is available to passengers that fly Transaero after the launching of a unique premium product: the Imperial class. Imperial class allows passengers to spend their time not just in comfort, but to be connected and to control business processes while flying at 10,000 meters.

PETS NOW ALLOWED ABOARD TRANSAERO AIRCRAFT

Transaero passengers no longer have to leave their pets behind. Animal transport services are now available on the airline operated regular and charter flights. Animal transportation aboard Transaero aircraft will require a preliminary approval from the airline, and permission from destination or transit country for international flights. Pet birds, cats and small breed dogs, whose weight does not exceed 8 kg (incl. weight of cage or container), are allowed for transportation on board a plane. Maximum of two animals are allowed for transportation per flight. A passenger can only carry one animal. A cat and a dog cannot be transported simultaneously on the same flight. It is not permitted to take the animals out during the flight. This, as well as a restriction on the number of animals allowed per flight, minimizes possible discomfort to other passengers. Animal transportation is charged at the rate of excess baggage, based on the actual mass of an animal together with a cage or a container: in weightconcept system – based on the cost for 1 kg of weight, in piececoncept system – at the rate of a second seat. The rules do not apply to service animals. Animal owners are obliged to produce animals’ health certificates at check-in. For more details on animal transportation aboard aircraft please visit the website or consult authorized airline agents.
