Profile As a highly self-motivated individual, this has given me the drive needed to perceiver through the study of architecture. The experience has prepared me with excellent interpersonal skills from performing presentations to various audiences. Coming through such pressurising environment, shows my growth as an individual and my drive to succeed.

The next step now is to put what I’ve learnt into practice, with much enhancement on my knowledge and understanding.

Employment K4 Architects (4th March 2014 - 17th July 2015):

My Role involved producing construction drawings, consulting with clients and manufactures, making amendments to various drawings and documentation.

Improved confidence and communication skills due to constant interaction with customers.

Experience Arch2o blogger/writer, www.arch2o.com (1st October 2013 - 30th January 2014):

For this upcoming design review NGO, I write weekly documents covering the topics of Art, Architecture and Design.

MADE GRADs, Newhall Square Birmingham (13th November 2013 - 4th February): Working along side professional assisting them with projects, which can include completing drawing to even the creation of a scaled model.

Caravan Change of use Project, Digbeth Birmingham (16th July 2013 - 24th October 2013): This project involved converting a three-bedroom caravan into an office space for ten workers.

The Space Studio Architects and Interior Designers, Jewellery Quarter Birmingham (27th August 2012 - 7th September 2012):

During this short placement I had to utilise my CAD skills by making adjustments to plans, sections and elevations to meet specifications. I also had the opportunity to take part in the writing of the planning statement giving me some insight into the planning process.

Hayes Bridge Construction, Stone Stafford (18th July 2011 - 3rd August 2011):

A live project that which I was involved in from the conception through to construction.

Achievements Housing in private rental market Competition (August 2013): A design competition to change the way we perceive the current privately rented market.

Green Book Award 2013: Award granted by the B&FCAA for demonstrating creativity, sensitivity and ability to present ideas in a visual manner.

Evolo Competition (2013): Design based on clearing the air of Icelandic volcanic ash.

AQA Baccalaureate (2010): To attain this award, I had to complete 100 hours of community activities, complete and A-level in critical thinking and produce a completed Extended project.

ECDL computer course (2008): Completing this course after my GCSE made me more competent in using Microsoft software and the data protection act.

Interests A lot of my interest came from my early exposure to modelling software. This interest led me to change the way I perceive Computer Graphics the world around me leading to further interests in programming, photography and travelling.

Music

My interest in music stretches to various genres as it can act as a tool for inspiration.

Martial arts interests me greatly as I see it as a way to improve both fitness and flexibility while having genuine fun.
