BLOOD DONOR CLINIC
Conceptual Approach
The design of the ‘Honeycomb’ Blood Donor Clinic was inspired by the chemical formula of blood and the community aspect of bees working together to achieve a single goal. The clinic featured angles with millwork and partitions, honeycomb patterned flooring, suspended ceiling details and wall designs. This project involved space planning according to the chemical formula of interconnected hexagons, branding through the use of color and logo placement and wayfinding through a universal and barrier-free floor pattern. Skills applied in this project include extensive research, hand sketching, rendering, furniture and equipment research, and specifications. 2015
