The Annual Fund “The character you build is yours forever” -David Robertson, Headmaster
With David Robertson achieving a transformative twenty five years of leadership and the School embarking proudly on its second century, we invite you to join us in building something truly timeless – the extraordinary experience that is a Shawnigan education. With your support of the Annual Fund, we can create the School of tomorrow, today.
WHY YOUR GIFT MATTERS Annual Fund donations generate immediate impact to Shawnigan’s students, providing resources to build and
sustain programs that develop character, knowledge, ability, and leadership among talented, driven young people.
This year, we seek your support in three strategic areas:
2. the Shawnigan Fund
1. the Headmaster’s Fund
3. C.A.S.E. (Communications, Arts, Sciences, Entrepreneurship)
These funds have played a central role in Shawnigan’s
remarkable progress under David Robertson’s leadership, and will continue to be an important part of his legacy to
the School. As always, we also welcome donations to other areas that are important to you.
Join us in building the extraordinary experience that is a Shawnigan education.
1
HEADMASTER’S FUND
Strategic funding for highest priorities
A contribution to the Headmaster’s Fund is an exceptional way to express support for our School’s direction, providing
unrestricted financial resources and the flexibility to respond to new challenges and emerging opportunities. Funds are
allocated at the Headmaster’s discretion to initiatives that help make Shawnigan such a special place of learning, including
edge humanitarian service projects, tours and travel assistance,
faculty professional development, and special projects.
2
SHAWNIGAN FUND
Financial assistance for promising students
Shawnigan’s financial assistance program enables 40% of our students to make first-class education a reality. These 200+
promising students, who would otherwise not be able to enroll at Shawnigan, receive support from scholarship and bursary
programs based on the character and commitment that they bring to the School. Every student benefits from an inclusive, diverse community and your contribution to the Shawnigan
Fund helps make our School accessible to promising students with untapped potential.

C.A.S.E.
Communications, Arts, Sciences, Entrepreneurship
c.a.s.e. integrates the recording arts, theatre and drama, visual
and textile arts, design engineering, robotics, coding, and a
multimedia immersion lab, providing students with an opportunity to explore their creative side while building technical skills and confidence that prepare them for a variety of career futures.
Exciting new c.a.s.e. projects are in progress, including a dance studio, upgrades to the Hugh Wilkinson Theatre, and a digital film and photography studio.
The Bradley Family Foundation matches all contributions to
c.a.s.e., so your donation’s impact will automatically double
through their generous support.
YOUR PARTICIPATION MATTERS Every donation, regardless of the amount, has a positive impact
on the Shawnigan community. Your participation as an annual
or monthly donor not only contributes important resources upon which our School relies, it communicates your commitment to
the comprehensive education that Shawnigan is providing to
outstanding youth that will positively impact our world in the future. It’s not what you give, it’s that you give. Please join us by making your donation today.
“It’s about providing quality education and experience through those formative years.” -Jim Shaw ‘77 (Lonsdale’s)
