During a segment on Enfoque Telemundo 47 on December 15, 2024, strategies were discussed to help local businesses capitalize on the opportunities brought by this international event The Chamber emphasizes the importance of Hispanic businesses preparing adequately to maximize the economic and visibility benefits that come with the World Cup. Business owners are encouraged to explore business opportunities related to the event and to develop strategic plans to take advantage of them.
During the December 15, 2024 segment of "Enfoque Telemundo 47," the candidates discussed key issues for the state, including the economy, education, and public safety Each candidate outlined their plans and strategies to address these topics, offering voters a clear view of their political platforms ahead of the upcoming elections

FIFA just announced an opportunity to provide Transport & Arrivals Services for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ (FCWC25). Through this RFP, FIFA seeks suppliers that ensure adequate transportation, staffing, and resource allocation throughout the tournament.

The Hispanic/Latino Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (H/LBH CoE) is pleased to announce the H/L Behavioral Health Policy Academy 2025 Up to 10 Hispanic/Latine students pursing a bachelor’s degree or graduate studies in psychology, counseling, social work, public health or related fields will be selected to be part of the Academy to complete a practicum, capstone or end of year project. We are looking for students who are excited about Hispanic/Latine mental and behavioral health, policy and public issues and promoting change interested in:
• Supporting states and nonprofits organizations in crafting a public policy plan with multisectoral stakeholders’ collaboration, • Facilitating and moderating public policy discussions among partners and collaborators, • Offering administrative and coordination support for a public policy academy, • Learning new knowledge from public policy experts and, • becoming a future provider and mentor regarding public policy issues.
In addition to completing your project, students will: • Received a $500 stipend at the beginning and end of your project ($1,000 per student) • Get paid air fares, lodging and per diem for in-person academy assistance. • Obtain support from your advisor/ supervisor, since it is required that a professor from your university and concentration commits to support you during the project. • Perform tasks related with the planning and implementation of the public policy academy of the Hispanic/Latino Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (https://hispaniclatinobehavioralhealth org/) funded by SAMHSA The Center’s mission is to advance and support the sustainability of behavioral health equity by promoting communitydriven, culturally grounded, and person-centered prevention, intervention, multiple pathways of recovery, and recovery support for diverse Hispanic and Latine communities
Fitch Ratings has revised the Rating Outlook on the Issuer Default Rating (IDR) and bond rating for New Jersey City University to Stable from Negative, the rating organization announced on Nov 13
Fitch has also affirmed the ‘BB+’ IDR and bond rating on approximately $136 million of outstanding par (FYE 2023) New Jersey Educational Facilities Authority (NJEFA) bonds, series 2007F, 2010G, 2015A, 2016D, 2021A and 2021B, issued on behalf of NJCU.
