Many nonprofit organizations do good things for the community but their impact is hard to measure. Our sponsors trust us and have been quite generous because they know their investment is safe and we provide an abundance of reporting to show the results and metrics of their investment.” -- Carlos Medina, President &CEO

About SHCCNJ

The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (SHCCNJ), had its beginnings in 1989 when Business leaders met with Governor Tom Kean and were encouraged to start a Chamber to foster, mentor and train Hispanic-Owned business in New Jersey.

As a not-for-profit organization for over 30 years, SHCCNJ has become the voice of the 120,000 Hispanic Owned businesses that contribute over $20 Billion to the State’s economy. The Chamber is the premier vehicle to access the Latino community and its formidable purchasing power, as evidenced by our growth of non-Hispanic membership reaching 45 percent. SHCCNJ is a voluntary membership network of individuals, businesses, Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and professional associations across New Jersey. The Chamber has been actively involved with various local organizations as well as the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. We have leveraged those relationships to grow our Chamber in order to further serve our members. We are always working to find innovative ways to add additional benefits and value to our members and the community at large.

Sponsorships

The Hispanic Entrepreneurship Training Program (HETP) has a simple mission, to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate business education and mentorship services for free to Hispanic small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. HETP is a major divergence from the typical "small business model" course experience. Our classes are instructed by bilingual subject-matter experts with real world experience and successful track records in their respective fields. Supplementing the classroom experience, existing business owners will be afforded the opportunity to be assigned a mentor/coach to more effectively implement strategy and cultivate ideas. Corporate sponsors shall also provide workshops designed to further enhance participant awareness of funding opportunities and critical skill sets. All sponsorships for the HETP Program include:
