It’s been fifteen years. Fifteen. I don’t know about you, but I think that’s a pretty big deal. I’m sitting here truly soaking in that I have been doing this for about a third of my life. The funny thing is that even though it has been fifteen years, there are days when I feel like that first issue was only a blink away. Truth is we were the underdog. If you asked around in 1999, not many people believed that a women’s magazine—a free women’s magazine—would survive for more than a year. Once you added to the mix that we planned to shatter mainstream myths about gay women and provide national content, well let me just say that the word on the street had us doomed within 12 issues. Little did they know I would be sitting here, raising a glass to my fifteenth year and issue #180 of She. Did I just smirk a little? Maybe, but you won’t hear me admit it. In truth, I am quite humbled by all this. I had the dream but I knew it was going to take a lot more than that to survive. I am humbled by what has been far more than just survival. I am humbled by the 180 months of blood, sweat and tears from so many, many people who have contributed to She’s success. I’m humbled by the vast amount of talent, artistry and beauty that have been seen on our pages. Our writers, our photographers, our artists, the comics, the actors, the musicians, the activists—all of whom love and support this community—when I put them all together, it is really quite astounding. You can look over to the right and see the list of our current, incredible backstage crew, but I can tell you that is just a drop in the bucket compared to all of those who have been a part of She. Whether only part of one issue or all 180 (so far), we have done all of this for you. And you, in turn, have been very good to us. The proof was in the pudding when, in preparing for this issue, we put out the word that we were looking for photos for our third annual couples’ album. In just two days we surpassed the number of submissions from years one and two combined. Were we thrilled and humbled? You bet your bippy. There is a lot of love on those pages and on all the other pages in between. A lot of mainstream myth shattering love. There is a saying in the music business: You’re only as good as your last record. Well, we feel the same way about the She business. As a magazine, as women, as a community, we’ve come a long way in fifteen years and we have no intention of sitting back on our laurels now. There’s more. A lot more. And it’s really, really good. Let’s do it together. See you next month.

what they said about...

“When such a critically acclaimed and popular rap artist puts marriage equality center

stage at one of the biggest events of the year, it is the latest in a long line of signs that our nation not only accepts, but celebrates the love and commitment of gay couples today...Macklemore and Ryan Lewis aren’t only talented musicians, but are setting the bar high for our allies around the country today.” —GLAAD President Sarah Kate Ellis (who is married to Kristen Henderson of the band Antigone Rising) in an exclusive statement to The Hollywood Reporter on January 26, 2014 about 33 same-sex (and opposite-sex) couples were married live on air during Grammys performance.

”The President is right to urge congress to fix our broken immigration system this

year, the creation of more jobs, equal pay for women, and the restoration of the Voting Rights Act. We are also pleased that the President is using his pen like he said he would to move things forward: in this instance by signing an executive order to increase the minimum wage for federal contract workers. However, he must go further and sign an executive order that bans discrimination against the same contract workers who are LGBT. The irony is that some LGBT federal contract workers will get a pay raise but they could still be fired for who they are and who they love. The longer the President waits the more damage LGBT people will face; discrimination is a painful reality that is too often the lived experience of LGBT people. The President has to act when Congress won’t.” —Rea Carey, Executive Director, National Gay and Lesbian Task Force Action Fund on the President’s State of the Union Address on January 28, 2014.

HRC Report Highlights Trend between President Obama’s Use of ‘Gay’ and Growing Support for Equality A new report from the Human Rights Campaign shows that President Obama’s unprecedented usage of words including “lesbian,” “gay,” “bisexual” and “transgender” in his public statements is contributing immensely to the political mainstreaming of LGBT people and marriage equality within American society. The report, which also examines the public statements of former Presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Ronald Reagan, found that President Obama has used the word “gay” more than any of his predecessors – 272 times. The report shows that during President Obama’s time in office, support for marriage equality has exploded from 40 percent in 2008 to 53 percent in 2013. “Words matter an enormous amount, and when President Obama uses his platform to declare that LGBT people are just as American as anyone else, it has a huge and historic effect. President Obama has helped the American people get to know LGBT people on a personal level, and evidence suggests that when people know us, they don’t want to discriminate against us,” said HRC President Chad Griffin. “President Obama has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of LGBT people, and the power of his rhetoric has been an essential part of that legacy.”

some Key findings from the report include:

• Throughout his time in the White House, President Obama has said the word “gay” at least 272 times; has used the word “transgender” at least 33 times; “bisexual” at least 28 times & “lesbian” at least 88 times in a public speech, statement or proclamation. • In his two terms in the White House, President Clinton used the word “gay” 216 times in public speeches, statements or proclamations, of which 46 instances were regarding gays in the military and 80 instances were regarding Matthew Shepard or hate crime legislation. • President Obama has consistently emphasized that rights and the pursuit of success should not be denied to anyone based on whom they love. • Since President Obama has been in office, the percentage of Americans who support marriage equality has risen from 40 percent in 2008 to 53 percent in 2013, according to Gallup polling. Immediately following President Obama’s 2012 endorsement of same-sex marriage, the number of African-Americans who supported marriage equality skyrocketed to 59 percent, up from an average of 41 percent, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll. • The rising tide of public support for marriage equality has been reflected in opinion shifts by prominent GOP lawmakers as well. Republican Sens. Rob Portman, Mark Kirk and Lisa Murkowski have all endorsed marriage equality. And in February 2013, more than 150 Republicans signed an amicus brief in support of a lawsuit striking down Proposition 8. > The full 28-page report is available online at www.hrc.org/ObamaReport

According to The Williams Institute’s analysis of the 2010 U.S. Census, 48,496 same-sex couples are living in Florida, representing 6.5 same-sex couples per 1,000 households. These couples are not entitled to spousal benefits such as spousal insurance coverage, Social Security survivor’s benefits and rights under the Family Medical Leave Act to take off work to care for a sick spouse. Advocates of equality say now is the time for Florida to speak out on same-sex marriage. “Marriage equality is inevitable and coming soon for Floridians because brave couples are demanding the dignity under the law that marriage provides. We are hopeful that the court hearing this case will agree with courts across the country that the Constitution requires that same-sex couples be permitted to marry,” said Daniel Tilley, LGBT rights staff attorney for the ACLU of Florida.

could same-sex marriage become a reality in florida?

The Support Co-counsel Elizabeth Schwartz is confident they will prevail. “We are confident that this issue will get a fair hearing in front of any judge it comes before. It’s very clear the ban against same-sex marriage is an unconstitutional deprivation of rights to equal protection and due process. Several of the recent landmark decisions have been authored by rather conservative judges, so it doesn’t take an LGBT ally to let reason, fairness and the law prevail,” said Schwartz, in a recent interview with She Magazine.

the support . the dream . the next step . the plaintiffs On January 21, 2014, both the National Center for Lesbian Rights and the Equality Florida Institute, the state’s largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s LGBT community, filed a lawsuit in state court challenging Florida’s ban on same-sex marriage. The 2008 ban, pushed into place by anti-gay forces in Florida, excludes same-sex couples from marriage and prohibits them from attaining any form of legal family status. “Today the majority of Floridians stand with us as we take this historic step toward marriage equality in the Sunshine State. These couples have been embraced by their families and communities, but every day, Florida laws are denying them the protections and dignity that every family deserves. These harmful laws are outdated and out of step. It is time for all families in our state to have full equality under the law,” said Nadine Smith, Equality Florida Institute Chief Executive Officer. Six same-sex couples - three female and three male - filed suit with the Equality Florida Institute. The lawsuit argues that Florida laws violate equal protection granted by the United States Constitution. Civil rights organizations like Equality Florida are seeking equal protection under the law, a view supported by 75% of Florida voters, according to Public Policy Polling as of March 2013.

Schwartz notes cases that have paved the way for equality battles on the state level, including the fall of DOMA and the Florida Supreme Court case involving the custody battle of lesbian moms, which found that discrimination based on sexual orientation violates the requirement of equal protection of the laws. “We have a very sharp legal team that I’m proud beyond measure to be a part of. We deliberated for countless hours to determine the path that would most likely result in the repeal of the ban. The National Center for Lesbian Rights is lead counsel on this case and they have a long history of litigating constitutional issues in Florida, including most recently establishing that Florida must recognize second parent adoptions from other states,” she said. The NCLR won the California and New Mexico marriage cases and is currently litigating marriage bans in Utah. Despite the different state strategies, the collective goal is to achieve marriage equality in all states. “We’re all one movement fighting for change,” said Schwartz. If there is an unfavorable outcome to the case, the plaintiffs will appeal to a higher court. With public opinion greatly supporting this movement, an effort to place this measure on the ballot could still be a viable path in the future.

families, basic human equality and freedom. Exclusion of this right can also have a negative effect on the economy. States who allow same-sex marriages have attracted millions in coffers and states like Florida are missing out on gay tourism dollars by alienating those who support gay marriage. According to Schwartz, “Employers also have difficulty attracting and retaining talent, losing quality employees to places with more just laws.” Supporters of the cause are encouraged to share personal love stories at GetEngaged. org, sign the petition for updates, donate and get information on volunteering. “Supporting the work of lead counsel NCLR is essential,” said Schwartz. “It’s critical that they raise the issue with their friends and family, sharing their supportive views.” The Next Step “Every state deserves marriage equality. We hope that we will soon see the day when nationwide marriage equality is a reality, “said Shannon Minter, Legal Director for National Center for Lesbian Rights. “The best path to achieving that goal varies from state to state. In Florida, filing a lawsuit now makes sense: the Florida courts are fair and open-minded and there are now several positive decisions that provide a strong foundation for a legal

In the past 13 years, Tegan and Sara have created an enthusiastic and global following. From being covered by The White Stripes to working with major DJs such as David Guetta, Tegan and Sara have bridged almost every musical genre. They have sold almost one million career albums and toured with chart toppers such as The Killers and Neil Young. The Canadian born duo’s seventh album, Heartthrob, debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. Their rise to fame has been as unique and intense as their songs. After releasing their first independent fulllength 1999 album, Under Feet Like Ours, Tegan and Sara caught the interest of Neil Young’s manager, Elliot Roberts. Just like that, they were signed to the legendary Vapor Records and before long, were touring worldwide. We recently spoke to Tegan as they get ready to headline The Dinah in Palm Springs, CA this coming April. What’s been one of the most memorable things about 2013 for you, personally and professionally?

Having a song in the Top 20 on pop radio was a big deal for us. As queer artists who have been at it for over a decade, it was a pretty big coup to be accepted at that level. Our goal was to diversify the mainstream and so it felt good to accomplish that. As you look back, how do you feel your music has evolved over the years?

We were 15 when we started making music, 19 when our first record came out and we’re 33 now. So, everything about us, our music and our career have changed over that time. I think the biggest thing that has changed is our abilities. We’re better performers, writers, singers, musicians and business people. We’re stronger, more capable and better at getting our vision across. 2013 has been a huge year for you two! It felt like there was so much more mainstream exposure. How do you feel about that?

We loved it. Our goal with Heartthrob was to reach more people, see more countries, break into the pop radio market and diversify our audience. We did all that and more! It was huge for us. You’ve been onstage with some huge singers this year: PiNK, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, to name a few. Do you ever get nervous beforehand?

Getting up on stage is always a very exciting experience for us, but it definitely adds a whole new spin to things when you’re joining someone on their stage. We were lucky enough to share the stage with a slew of incredible performers this year and were definitely feeling the butterflies beforehand. It’s exciting to do something outside of our comfort zone. It is thrilling to be accepted by world-class artists and have the opportunity to get in front of their audience. So you get up there and do your best! Heartthrob had a different feel to it than some of your other releases. What was the thought process behind it? SHE - 20 - 02/14

We love pop music. Growing up with 80s and 90s “pop” meant something totally different than it does today. Sara and I both love a lot of what is happening in pop, currently. Both of us felt it was time to try and diversify our audience and reach new people. The mainstream pop music stations didn’t play anything like us and we really wanted them to. The more we wrote, the more it seemed like we were closer to that format than we had been in the past. So we decided to pick a producer who could help us fit in that world. Last year, you ladies got to share a bed with Kate Moennig, so to speak. You got to interview one of TV’s bestknown lesbians in a video directed by Clea Duvall. What was that like?

Kate is a wonderful person who we are lucky to call a friend. It was a thrill to share a bed with her on screen and get to ask her ques-

We learned that you are only as strong as the people who work with you. Our foundation is increasingly important to us. We would not be where we are today without the incredible team of people around us who help us get the band and the music out there. We treat everyone with respect and love. We try to be as generous as we can possibly be. We learned these lessons very early on and stick to them even 17 years later. Social media has allowed singers, bands and actors to engage with their fans in a much more immediate and intimate way. As a performer, do you feel like this is positive or negative?

and that understanding them means labeling them. Truthfully, there is no label for our music. You just have to listen. Canada has been pretty inspirational as a country with their same-sex marriage acceptance. What do you think about the Stateside struggle for marriage equality?

We believe in equality for all people. We do our best to inspire people all over the world to believe the same. I think America is moving slowly, but they are moving. We look forward to a time when all of America is equal. If someone peeked at your iPod playlist right now, what would they find?

I think social media has been very important to our band. In most regards, it is very helpful and necessary for a band our size. It helped us reach our audience long before radio or media were supporting us. But it can be intrusive

Cut Copy, Lorde, St Lucia, Lucius, Haim, Chvrches, Miley Cyrus. This year you will headline The Dinah Shore Weekend on saturday night. Is this your first time performing at this

teganandsara.com tions about being a heartthrob. The L Word was an important show for us because it was the first time we were getting to see women our age tell stories that were funny and fun, hot and relatable. We’ll always have a special place in our heart for that show and for Kate. Clea is a wonderful friend as well. She is an incredible actor and director. We count ourselves very lucky to have been able to use her creative energy on our project. With a 13-year career that’s going strong, you started at a relatively young age. Is there any lesson you learned early on that you’re still applying to your career today?

and it definitely makes some fans feel entitled which can be hard. But certainly to connect to fans and educate and inform them about what we’re up to has been efficient and fun!

You’ve been described as “twin lesbian, indie-rock girls from Calgary” in almost every write up I’ve ever seen. That’s a lot of labels in one description. How would you describe yourselves?

We are a pop rock band that loves 80s and 90s music. But I will also acknowledge that all those labels above are sort of true. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gotten less obsessed with removing those labels or being unboxed. I get that humans need to understand people

It is our first time attending and performing. Our show will be high energy. Our job will be to entertain and ensure everyone has a good time. Generally, we do the hits at something like this and play the songs people love to hear and sing along to. We can’t wait! Are you planning on enjoying the whole event with a significant other or girlfriend (wink, wink) or would you be in town just for your performance?

Our schedule is still in flux, so it’s an unknown entity to us. I love Palm Springs. I look for any reason to go and enjoy some time in the sun. So I’m sure we will be enjoying some of the event! Where are you headed after The Dinah?

We haven’t announced our spring schedule yet. But we have some exciting stuff coming up. Stay tuned!

was fully comfortable as a lesbian (didn’t happen!). Turn-ons: Nice smile, legs for days, the indent on a woman’s back. Turn-offs: Bad breath, a woman who doesn’t take care of herself. My Best Quality: Outgoing. the last book i read: 50 Shades of Grey. I have a weakness for: Girls with tattoos and a nice body. I like to wear: Snap backs and flower bomb. If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?: Healing. I want to heal people of minor cuts and

bruises but also help ease those in pain and suffering from more serious illnesses. Sensitive Body Parts: My neck and ears. If my life were made into a movie, my part will be played by: Michelle Rodriguez. my greatest accomplishment: I am the first in my family to

graduate from college. my favorite tv show: Pretty Little Liars. Celebrity’s butt I would most like to squeeze:

Christina Aguilera. My most memorable date: October 24th was when I pro-

posed to my fiancé. The cartoon character I am most like: Angelica Pickels. If you could change your name, what would you pick: I wouldn’t have it any other way. The last movie I went to a theater to see was: Justin

Bieber in Believe. My coming out was: Long awaited but brutal. I came out at

“Just because there’s a goalie in soccer doesn’t mean you can’t score!”

19, but my father knew all along, saying “You were always nicer to any of your girlfriends growing up then to all the boyfriends you had.” On the other hand, my mom had a hard time. It took her about two years to fully accept it. Now, she flaunts my engagement ring to fellow co-workers. When I told her I might be in a lesbian magazine, she said “Really? That’s awesome. I’d better get a copy when it comes out!” French Fries, French Vanilla, French Toast or French Manicure?: French Fries. Favorite flower: Lilies. my favorite quote: ”Just because there’s a goalie in soccer

doesn’t mean you can’t score!” if you were to become an activist in the lgbt community, which organization would you choose:

Pridelines Youth Services. Our youth is most important because they are what keeps our dreams and visions growing, and these days there’s a lot more bullying going on. I would definitely want to let them know it’s ok. With time, everything works itself out. I would tell them to never lie about themselves because in the end they have to live their life. i think our community needs: More open minds, not regarding sexual preferences but other situations that are not as common (i.e. interracial relationships). DID YOU ABOUT... SHEMAGAZINE & SHEMAG: WHAT ARE YOUR FEELINGS AND EXPECTATIONS ABOUT SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN FLORIDA?

Glenna G—This is the most hope my partner and I have had since we first had our commitment ceremony in 1991. Yeah! Equality Florida for filing the lawsuits for those six wonderful couples that have stepped up to the plate. Liebra M—My feelings...It can’t come sooner. Expectations...Well, don’t we live in the freedom of speech country? Isn’t this country all one united and if so why do we have to fight for each state to legalize same sex marriage? As the three musketeers once said: “All for one and one for all.” Marianna A—Hoping, but not holding my breath. Stephanie R—Can care less honestly...if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, then oh well . There’s plenty of other states where you can get married. Carey M—Will never happen in that state as it will never happen in Texas. Retta J—I truly believe it will happen, but it will be a hard road. Cathy G—Every state (so far), that has had its state DOMA challenged in court has lost. So, if the trend continues, marriage equality will happen sooner than I had been predicting for some time now. What is more telling to me, is that the numbers in favor of same-sex marriage in Florida are increasing such that if the DOMA law were to be voted on today, it would have likely lost. That is the real encouraging news. Estefania P—¡Hay Dios, ojalá! Mamasunshinee—With Liz Schwartz as one of the attorneys for the couples in Miami and the rest of the team of support. As such, ladies get an exclusive lineup of red-hot activities tailored specifically for them and their admirers. This 21st edition of Winter Party Festival is no exception, bringing three exciting women’s events to the “hottest winter in the world.” “The 21st Winter Party Festival promises a record female attendance, evidence that all of the hard work we have been doing since 2005 to cater to women has paid off,” said Marivi Iglesias, director of women’s programming for Her Winter Party. “The fact that we have been working hand-in-hand with top local promoters Icandee Events and Pandora has definitely helped to identify what women really want when it comes to a party.” In addition to the popular Her Winter Party events ArtScape, Pa’Ella and Industry, women are also invited to events for both men and women, such as the iconic Under One Sun Pool Party and THE SOCIAL: Lincoln Road Gala, where guests can shop at the trendiest South Beach retail stores, watch a fashion show and listen to live vocal performances. Tickets to official Her Winter Party events are available individually or as part of the $45 multi-event Her Winter Party pass.

Suerte y… ¡feliz día del amor y la amistad!

Best Lesbian Erotica 2014 edited by Kathleen Warnock This evocative and passionate collection contains stories by award-winning writer and sex blogger Sinclair Sexsmith, and Cheyenne Blue, two of my favorite writers. In “Run, Jo, Run,” Jo outruns a lifetime of hardship until she meets a fellow runner whose love catches up to her. In Sinclair Sexsmith’s story, two gym butches give each other more than “A Good Workout. The BLE series always pushes emotional and sexual boundaries and the 2014 edition is no exception.

Breaking Balls Tournament for Women’s Health at former Kick’s Sports Bar in Wilton Manors, Nov. 2003.

Love Burns Bright: A Lifetime of Lesbian Romance, edited by Radclyffe I’ve long been a fan of Radclyffe, the awardwinning writer, former brain surgeon and creator of Bold Strokes Books. Her latest collection, Love Burns Bright, takes us on a journey of love and passion in committed lesbian relationships. It takes two childhood friends almost fifty years to get a chance at love in “Forever Yours, Eileen” by Rebekah Weatherspoon. In the lyrical and poetic “A Story About Sarah,” Cheyenne Blue’s character Melly “tells the first story that fell out of her head” about Sarah, whom she’s loved since they met as children in Australia. Well-written, diverse, romantic and sexy, Love Burns Bright will heat up your winter.

Best Women’s Erotica 2014 edited by Violet Blue Dan Savage said about Best Women’s Erotica 2014, “Superstar sex writer Violet Blue does an amazing job,” and she certainly does. Blue has compiled a fantastic collection that explores the fantasies of straight, lesbian, and bisexual women. In Nikki Adams’ “Chrysalis” a busy lawyer finds passion in the arms of a non-op transwoman, and in Alyssa Turner’s “Reality TV,” a lesbian’s girlfriend arranges an extraordinary encounter with the sexy neighbor. Varied and fascinating, Violet Blue’s latest anthology enthralls and arouses. facebook

All of the constraints on your creativity that you’ve encountered in the past couple of years have magically disappeared, leaving you to pursue your dreams. You’ll still need a solid plan, complete with solid financing, before you can accomplish your goals. Share your vision with influential people who can help, advise, and perhaps, even invest. You’ll be free to travel for pleasure, and enjoy romantic-comedy-adventures, doing what you want to, not because you have to.

You’re out and about, re-connecting with old friends and making new ones, visiting family, and enjoying time by yourself as well. You don’t need a passport to explore your own neck-of-the woods, finding new shops and restaurants. Allow yourself a make-over and a new outlook. Free yourself of the burdens you’ve been carrying by yourself, and distribute the responsibilities, so that you can better balance home and career.

You need to be more rational, practical and frugal, as you separate reality from fantasy, and decide on what’s possible. The past has taught you some hard lessons about trust and you’ll soon have opportunities to put those lessons to the test. Trust, but verify, and allow time to show you what you need to know about anybody and/or, anything. Conserve and enjoy what you have. Don’t risk too much in your quest for more security.

Your financial zone has been blocked for the past two years and that is about to change for the better. However, you still need to steer your ship into calm waters, so don’t set too rigid a course. Prepare yourself to go with the flow, not the plan. Practice restraint with your credit cards and buy what you have to. Make a realistic budget and stick to it. Practice making love, not war, and restrain from your usual critique of your loved ones.

The past merges into the present as you try to stop spinning with obsessive thoughts about old issues and start turning your old mistakes into invaluable lessons by not repeating them. You’ll need to balance what you need and want, with the needs and wants of the significant others in your life. The rewards will be worth it, socially and financially.

The planets are empowering you to make positive changes in your life to improve your health, diet, finances, and therefore, the overall quality of your life. You don’t have to completely reinvent yourself to become the new, improved you. Create your new persona in your mind’s eye and the world will see you as you wish to be. Be sure that you do not allow old negative patterns to undermine your progress, and be open to new people, places and ideas.

Hopefully you’ve spent the last few cycles making positive changes in your life, and have new and improved health and diet habits. Do you allow your stress to create strife? If so, do you recognize that “only you can prevent forest fires?” Remember, it only takes a spark to start a blaze. Identify the who or what no longer serves you, and rethink it. Enjoy the hedonistic side of your personality, but leave your credit cards at home.

You’ve been given lots of hard lessons the past few years and now you finally get to take the Universe’s test and show off what you’ve learned. Your education will continue in the form of self-analysis, as you determine what else you need to address before you can move forward. Correct past mistakes if you can and make sure you don’t repeat them. Be patient, wait for the right opportunity, but don’t chase unrealistic fantasies. Be realistic about projections and timelines.

Your energies have been scattered, your thoughts unfocused, and you often feel like you’re chasing your own tail. Decide on what you want, then figure out what you need in order to achieve i. Stop allowing your evil twin and others, to undermine your focus and resolve. You are at your creative and charming best, so make the most of it. Enjoy romantic-comedy-adventures, but don’t overdo it.

You’re energized to socialize, to network, and to dash about, here and there, exploring, researching and having fun. You’ve got physical energy to burn as well, so now’s a good time to get those projects done at long last. Use your mental energy to create new financial opportunities, and then make a marketing plan to successfully achieve your career goals. You’ve had your dreams and fantasies for a long time. Now it is time to manifest them.

You’ve been going through a lot of unsettling energy that has undermined your sense of peace and security, both financially and personally. The good news is that’s about to change. Whether you’ve planned for it or not, the Universe is empowering you to move forward, out of the negative, and into the positive. Don’t resist. Go with the flow to a much better space and place. Remember when dealing with loved ones, keep your iron fist in a velvet glove.

It should come as no surprise that your focus continues to be on career and finances, even though your personal life keeps interfering with your plans for world domination. Your past struggles have gotten you into peak shape to handle any challenges to your security and quality of life. Network yourself as often as you can, to as many new people as you can. It’s important to increase your sphere of influence.
