When I was growing up, my mom was the cool mom in the neighborhood. I had the house where all my friends wanted to hangout. When you came to my house, my mom was totally okay with you being whoever you wanted to be and doing whatever you believed you wanted to do. I vividly remember seeing my mom, when I was in my late teens, walking into the living room, weekend after weekend, to find a group of 6 or more kids sleeping on the floor. She’s do a quick headcount, then head into the kitchen and emerge with boxes of cereal and just the right number of spoons and bowls, place them on the dining room table and head out to run her errands. She loved every one of those kids as if they were her own. She knew and liked all the same music as we did. And she could go with the flow better than anyone I had ever known. I don’t know when exactly it happened, but somewhere along the way, I woke up one day and my mom became Goldilocks. She reached an age when go with the flow means nothing more than remembering to pee before she leaves the house. Everything is either too hot, too cold, too soft, too hard, too short, too tall, too deep, too narrow, makes her butt sweat (which she charmingly calls, “Swamp ass,”) or gives her gas. You can only imagine what it takes to find something that is, “Just right.” One thing that has remained a constant is the way she loves me and the people in my life. For all the times I am astounded by how high-maintenance she’s become, there are quadruple the times when I am blown away by how she goes above and beyond for any of us. Sure she may nag me to quit smoking and answer my phone more than once a week, but no matter when we call, she’s always there with a happy, “Hello,” and “I love you.” And if any of us are in need, she’s there without delay (right after she pees). Heading into my forty’s, it was nowhere near my radar that I would suddenly become a parent, especially not to a teenager. But you know, my mom taught me enough to know that when a kid needs you, you do what you need to do. And in these last 5 years, I’d like to think that I afforded him with the same benefits I had with my mom. I’m okay with him being whoever he wants to be and doing whatever he believes he wants to do. Like my mom did with me, I make sure he knows that I won’t judge him because he is responsible for his own life and choices. I may nag him to quit smoking cigarettes if he can’t afford to buy his own and to at least text me once a week, but when he calls, I am always there with a happy, “Hello,” and “I love you.” And if he needs me, I’m there. Period. Looking back, I realize that my mom really gave me all the tools I needed to be a good parent. And I have every intention of remaining the kind of mom she continues to be. She may be Goldilocks, but she’s my Goldilocks, and as far as I’m concerned, she’s, “Just right.” See you next month.
Tina Sordellini Managing Executive Editor P.S. Don’t tell her I said any of this, or she’ll expect me to answer the phone more than once a week.

Opening in theaters on May 15, is the fantasy/action/adventure, Snow White and the Huntsman, starring Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron. in the news New Report Shows Hispanics More Likely Than Majority of Americans to Support the LGBT Community Countering popular assumptions that Hispanics are more anti-gay than other segments of society, a new report co-released in April by NCLR (National Council of La Raza) and Social Science Research Solutions (SSRS) finds that Latinos are, in fact, as open and tolerant, if not more tolerant, than the general population in the U.S. toward gays and lesbians. The report, LGBT Acceptance and Support: The Hispanic Perspective, offers an in-depth look at how Latinos view gays and lesbians within their own community and their level of support for LGBT issues. The 125-page report, funded by the Arcus Foundation, notes that Hispanics are actually slightly more inclined to support legal same-sex marriage and to be more accepting of gays and lesbians in society than most Americans. Also, Latinos are just as likely as any other group in the U.S. today to identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender. “There is a clear misperception among the general population about where Latinos stand on LGBT issues, partly because the media pushes this narrative that the culture and values of Latinos and LGBT progress are simply incompatible,” said David Dutwin, Vice President of SSRS and author of the report. “Such misperceptions manifest in story after story about a particular Hispanic group opposing a gay rights bill, even though this anti-gay sentiment is not reflective of all Latinos. In reality, as society is evolving on LGBT issues and becoming more accepting of this community, so too are Hispanics.”
WHY don’t I have a mommy and a daddy?—a PANEL FOR LGBT PARENTS The issues that LGBT parents face in raising our children are myriad. Participate in a panel discussion focused on issues that are important to LGBT parents and their children, “Why don’t I have a Mommy & a Daddy.” Co-hosted by Elizabeth F. Schwartz, PA, the panel will present relevant material to increase awareness, develop understandings, and think about issues and challenges in ways that support child and family well being. A large part of the time will be spent on Q & A where participants ask questions, share their experiences and hear from other parents as well. After, you are invited to stay for an event hosted by Shining Families at 4:30PM, which is a great opportunity to spend additional time with LGBT families. “Why don’t I have a Mommy & a Daddy” will take place on Saturday, May 19th, 2PM-4PM at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, in the Great Hall • 2750 McFarlane Rd., Coconut Grove • This event is FREE and refreshments will be provided. Child care is available if you pre-register online at sobelaw.com/panelreg.html. A $5.00 parking fee will apply if parking at church/school lots.

As we get ready for the third season of TRLW, can we expect you back for the whole season? Not the whole season. I am not a cast member. You may see me here and there depending on the editing. I filmed a lot with Romi since we have developed a very close friendship. In season two, the “sex scenes” were introduced. Are they back in the third season? I’m assuming they will continue that trend. Romi and Whitney have always been open to that part of their lives being documented and I’m sure they picked some ladies that felt the same way about being open to cameras in the bedroom. Why did you decide to not go there? It was never expected or requested by production. I went with the flow to the point of my comfort level. I think Natalie and I did a very classy job of showing our attraction, love, and sexiness to the public. I don’t think (sex is) needed but if cast members are comfortable, then more power to them. It takes a lot of courage to do that. Why do you think production chose to go with some of the same cast for two and three instead of maybe going to another city and follow new girls? Whitney and Romi are on all seasons. I think after season one, they chose to go that route and explore deeper into their stories and know that all can and will be shown with no apprehensions. They are introducing the New York lesbian scene this coming season, but I think the show’s foundation has been and will continue to be around Whitney. From checking your Facebook fan page, I guess Natalie is back in your life. What’s different this time around? You are my fave girl, but I would have kicked you to the curb a long time ago! We’re not together. That’s the biggest difference (laughs). I’ve spent the last year and few months being very, very single and happy. We reconnected because of a mutual love and respect we have for one another, but things are moving so slow they are going backwards (laughs). We have so much fun together and have an amazing attraction, so there’s that! Is there something about you that you’d like people to know that hasn’t come out yet? This year was a rough one. I lost both of my grandmothers to cancer after long battles. As everyone has seen, my family is everything to me, so it’s been tough. It’s made my family even closer than ever. With that said, it’s made me appreciate life so much more. I’m blessed to have had them and cherish what and who I have now. Everyone should. Life is a precious gift. What’s next for you? Wow! I would’ve thought that after season two the demand would’ve died out, but it hasn’t. Glad I didn’t have to masturbate on camera to stay relevant (laughs). I’ll be doing some projects with Romi. We are working with “Wake Up Call Tees” to put out some signature tees. We’ll donate to various charities. I am also working on a project with Cori, Casey and Romi called the “You Are Never Alone Project.” We’ll do speaking engagements and reach out to college age kids focusing on LGBT issues/topics. I’m looking forward to this continuous ride.

If you’re a late night talk show junkie and have flipped on the E! Network, chances are you’re familiar with Chelsea Handler’s newest gay, Fortune Feimster of “Chelsea Lately.” If you haven’t, grab the remote and be prepared to laugh because Fortune is funny! You’re a total rock star lesbian comedian right now! How does it feel to be recognized everywhere you go? Is there pressure to have the right polo shirt on at all times?
That makes me sound way cooler than I am, especially the part about polo shirts. It’s definitely been pretty trippy getting recognized lately. Every now and then I’ll see somebody staring at me and I’m always certain it’s because my zipper is open. That’s because my zipper usually is indeed open. You started off doing some stand up gigs, but also posting some pretty funny stuff on YouTube. Do you think
social networking is making it easier for new comedians to get work?
Absolutely. Social networking has been the best promotional tool any performer could have ever asked for. It gives you a way to connect with people from all over the world who might have never heard of you otherwise. The only time it doesn’t come in handy is when my mom sees something inappropriate I wrote and doesn’t find it funny. Oops! What a relief to have a steady job doing something you’re good at and love. Did you have a bunch of crappy jobs before you landed “Chelsea Lately”?
I was pretty lucky with jobs before working with Chelsea. I was an entertainment journalist for almost seven years with a really wonderful newspaper column called Beck/Smith. They were so good to me and I got to go to all kinds of cool events like the Oscars and movie premieres. The best part about it was that I also got to pursue comedy at night.
We get to see you in some ridiculously funny skits on “After Lately” and “Chelsea Lately.” Have you ever turned down anything yet because it was too uncomfortable?
I haven’t had to turn anything down so far. I told them from the beginning that I had one rule: I would never show my stomach. Trust me, nobody needs to see that! Unfortunately, that hasn’t stopped them from putting me in ridiculously tight outfits. You’ve worked with Jen Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Dave Grohl and some other really big artists. What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever said to a famous celebrity?
The first time I met Jen Aniston, I put my arm around her and accidentally grazed her butt. I swear on my life, it was an accident! I then said to her, “I just touched your butt.” She said, “That isn’t the first time that’s happened.” Then I said, “Well, I’m not going to lie.

I’m not sorry about it.” I’m pretty sure it was the smoothest move she’s ever seen! Haha! I’ve heard you’re single and that women rarely approach you. What is up with that? Do they at least send over drinks?
I’d like to know what’s up with that too! Ladies? I am single, though I do date if that makes sense. I just don’t have a plethora of women hitting on me. Not that there needs to be a plethora of women hitting on me. I just wanted to use the word plethora. I guess what it boils down to is I just don’t get asked on many dates. I don’t know if they’re too intimidated to come say hi or if I’m putting out a weird vibe, but hopefully that gets better as I get older. I guess I better go hit the gym!
“
So much of my standup is me telling personal stories about my life that it would be way too weird to never address my sexuality.”
First Chelsea, then Heather McDonald, and now Sarah Colonna with the best selling books. Can we expect one from you any time soon? What kind of title would you go with?
I’d love to write a book someday. It’s certainly an idea that I’ve been entertaining. The problem is I don’t know what it’d be about. I’m too young to write an autobiography, too gay to give advice on how to snag a man, and too fat to tell people how to take care of their bodies. Has being an out lesbian had any negative impact on your career?
I’ve been very lucky when it comes to being an out comedian. People have been nothing but supportive. So much of my standup is me telling personal stories about my life that it would be way too weird to never address my sexuality. There was no other option than to just be myself and hope that people would accept me. So far, so good. How has your family reacted to your recent success?
My family has always been a really huge support system for me. They were a little weary
Does having access to Ross Matthews on a regular basis make you a better dresser or just plain happy all the time?
I love Ross. I just saw him give a speech at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles and he’s just so funny and such a likeable guy. I’m really glad that I’ve been able to get to know him through the show and it’s nice getting to go to gay events together. Unfortunately, his sense of style has not rubbed off on me, but there’s hope yet! You have over 60,000 followers on Twitter (@fortunefunny)...how much of a job is it to keep them entertained and replied to?
You grew up in the south. What was it like for you when you first arrived in Los Angeles? Did you have any fishout-of-water experiences?
Moving to Los Angeles was a piece of cake because I had just lived in Spain for a year and that was one of the hardest adjustments I’ve ever had. At least in L.A., people spoke English (for the most part) and I could talk to my family on the phone (without it costing a bazillion dollars). My biggest mistake when I first moved here was thinking that everybody shopped at a store called Forever 21. Turns out 21 days are exactly how long the clothes last before they fall apart.
special bonds. I share an office with Heather McDonald, I talk about girls with Chris Franjola, and I think Josh Wolf and I share the same brain.
when I moved to LA just because they knew it was a hard place to live and a hard business to be in. My mom also wanted me to go to graduate school. That didn’t keep them from rooting me on, though. Now that I’m making a living doing what I love, they couldn’t be happier for me. There is always such an element of “party time!” on the show. Is it really as much fun as it seems?
We definitely have our share of fun and Margarita Thursdays are a beloved tradition, but we all work really hard. None of us could have gotten as far as we have if we were drunk all the time. In fact, we work a lot harder than we play. We just like to laugh and enjoy ourselves while we do it. Out of all the staff and co-workers on the show, which one are you most comfortable motorboating?
I would like to say that I motorboat Chelsea, but she actually motorboats me. That’s ‘cause she’s the boss! And I gots no problem with it! As far as working with everybody else, there isn’t one person I enjoy most. We all have our
Sometimes it feels like a full-time job! Whenever I can’t think of a funny tweet, I feel like I’m going to get in trouble. With whom I’m not sure! The Twitter police? That would actually be awesome if that existed. You know, I never really did Twitter before I joined “Chelsea Lately,” but it’s a big part of the show. All the other writers are so good about tweeting people back. I can’t bring myself to be on there for hours at a time but I try to respond when I can. It’s nice to let people know how much you appreciate their support. You manage your own Twitter and Facebook, still do stand-up, and are a regular on a hit TV show. When is it time for a personal assistant?
Look, I wish I could get a personal assistant immediately but I’m definitely nowhere near that yet. Maybe some day. Until then, people unfortunately have to wait to get a response for a few days. Maybe a week. Sometimes a month. Ok, who wants to be my assistant? What’s the best part about being you at this moment in your life?
I’m just really happy. I’ve got great friends and a really supportive family. I’m (somewhat) healthy. I’m getting paid to do what I love. I’m getting to travel the world doing standup, and I get to make people laugh every day. It’s pretty stinkin’ cool! Now if I could just find a good man then I’d have it all!

Pig & Whistle in Hollywood was my first. It was as dirty as it sounds. From there I met up with a local producer and made One Year Happy. Once I moved up to Canada, I did the same thing and got plugged into a really solid music base, which enabled me to make this next album with Daniel Ledwell. Musical Influences: The Black Keys, Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, Burt Bacharach, The Carpenters, Gordie Sampson, The Bird & The Bee Favorite Cover to Perform: “You Don’t Know Me” by Cindy Walker and Eddy Arnold. It’s that time of year—time to pack your swimsuits, sunglasses, and mouse ears and head to Orlando, Florida’s Disney World Gay Days™ for the 2012 Girls in Wonderland. Thursday, May 31st kicks off the magical weekend, and the fairy-dust doesn’t settle until Sunday, June 3th. Even Sleeping Beauty is sure to stay awake through all of this excitement.
Gay Days® weekend began twenty-one years ago, and has grown to become the largest gay and lesbian vacation event in America. Over 125,000 gays and lesbians flock from all over the world to attend this truly magical weekend of gay celebrations, shows, Disney theme park magic, celebrities, and more. Eleven years ago South Beach event producers, Pandora events created Girls In Wonderland and now thousands of ladies have their own parties host hotels and celebrities to play with. Each year, the Pandora team—Alison Burgos, Yesi Oliver-Leon, and Amy Alonso—raises the bar on this heavenly extra-long fun in the sun weekend tradition. Besides securing spotlight evening entertainment featuring live performances by rockers Halcyon and showstopper, Baby Blue along with a rousing gyrating core of leggy dancers and some of the best Djs on the planet, notably Dj Lisa Pitman, Dj Pat Pat and Dj Zehno. Daily pool parties also whet the appetite. Numerous splash bashes include music, poolside cocktails, games and giveaways. Bikinis by day, party clothes by night… the immediate goal is on pure satisfaction. But this feel good weekend is also a do good event. Pandora producer Yesi Oliver-Leon concurs, “We are pioneers in producing women’s events for charity. Good causes motivate us!” Indeed, Girls in Wonderland pays homage and partial profits to the trailblazing NCLR, The National Council for Lesbian Rights. This dynamic group is committed to the rights and safety of lesbians and the greater LGBT community and their families through litigation, public policy and education. The whole weekend radiates with a “Don’t worry, be happy” vibe. To assure that no guest feels uneasy about arriving on time, or getting lost, or drinking and driving, Pandora offers complimentary transportation to and from each nightly venue. Olivera-Leon is pleased to provide this assurance for guests, “Of course we want everyone to have an amazing time, but safety first!” The emphasis is clearly on fun, freedom, and relaxation for all participants. Headquarters for Girls in Wonderland is the Courtyard Village in Lake Buena Vista. Guests take over two large hotels, The Courtyard Marriot and The Fairfield Inn. While both establishments boast a list of inviting amenities such as complimentary WIFI and guest parking, each one has its own personality. Like a wild child and her mellower sister, the Marriott has a rambunctious reputation and the Fairfield Inn is a bit more laid back. The fabulous pool parties are free to hotel guests, so don’t miss out in the fun. With gay women flocking to Orlando, from all over the world, to join in the Girls in Wonderland festivities, it’s hard to believe that once upon a time, Orlando did not cater to the gay princesses of the world. Oliver Leon recalls, “We noticed only men’s events here, so right then and there we started figuring out ways to fill the void.” The Pandora visionaries quickly resolved the issue, and soon enough, in this magical land, lesbian celebrations took root and started to grow. Pandora’s mission to connect and strengthen the gay female community in the context of total enjoyment and relaxation is fully flourishing now. At Girls in Wonderland, the magical mood is so crazy and contagious, in fact, that it is rumored Cinderella has been wooed over to the lesbian lifestyle and that now, she is living more happily ever after than ever imagined!

Choosing a pet can have a more lasting impact than almost any other acquisition. Studies show that pets acquired on impulse are more likely to be given up than pets that are carefully and thoughtfully chosen. Every person, family, and pet is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all kind of pet. But with a little forethought and planning, you can avoid common pitfalls and find the right pet. 1. Be Reasonable. Put old biases aside. Just because you grew up with a dog doesn’t mean you have time for one now. 2. Start With the Heart. Make a list of the types of pets that you really like. 3. Add Facts. Learn about prospective pets. Lifespan, size, space and time required, cost of supplies and vet bills and kind of care needed, are all things you need to know to narrow your choices. 4. Inventory Your Resources. Take a quick but realistic look at your resources and circumstances. How much time, money, energy and space do you really have? 5. Consider Special Issues. What pets are permitted where you live? Who will care for the pet when you are working late or traveling? If you are a parent, think about your children’s ages, temperaments, interests and physical abilities in relation to a pet. Ready to choose? By now, you should have a fairly clear sense of: the type of pet you like; what it will take to care for this pet; whether or not you have the resources to provide such care; whether other circumstances rule out or rule in this pet. There is a wide range of appealing pets to choose from, in addition to cats and dogs. For almost everyone, a good match is possible. Some quick facts: Cats: A good choice if you want a quiet, indoor pet. They like human company and attention, and can be quite affectionate. They need regular meals, grooming, a clean litter box, toys and a window. Dogs: Great if you have lots of space and time for exercising and playing. Dogs are sociable and need a lot of interaction with people. They need training and grooming, as well as food and regular vet care. Small Mammals: Ferrets, rabbits and the like, require nearly as much time and attention (and exercise outside the cage) as dogs. The need daily attention and most should not be inside their habitat fulltime. They need daily feeding and handling, and a thoroughly clean the pet habitat. Birds: These can be charming, endearing companions. They are intelligent, sociable and often amusing. Unless you get two, birds require substantial human interaction, including time outside the cage, which can be messy. Like all pets, they need daily care. Fish: Perfect if you are pressed for time. Setting up an aquarium can be time-consuming, but daily feeding takes only a moment, and weekly maintenance can be accomplished in less than an hour. Exotic, Alternative or Non-traditional Pets: Reptiles and amphibians, are harder, and generally more expensive, to care for. It is difficult to find vets trained in these specialties, and reliable information about their care. The transmission of salmonella bacteria from reptiles to humans is also a serious health concern.

SHE - 38 - 05/12
shep38_39Especial.indd 1

Surrogacy
101
It is estimated that there are 7.3 million women in this country, ranging from the ages of 15 to 44, who are unable to conceive due to different infertility complications. Infertility does not discriminate. It impacts everyone, regardless of skin color or sexual orientation. For a long time, the only solution for infertile people was to either adopt or remain childless. Despite advancements in IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization), artificial insemination, and other Advanced Reproductive Technologies (ART), being able to carry a child to full term can be the biggest challenge in having a family. Surrogacy may be necessary to complete the dream of having a family if a woman has never had or no longer has a uterus or if she has medical complications that prohibit her from pregnancy. Single gay men or male couples also use surrogates. There are two different types of surrogacy: Traditional and Gestational. In a traditional surrogacy arrangement, the surrogate mother is also the biological mother. Fertilization occurs through artificial insemination, whether it is from a sperm donor or the intended father. The process for gestational surrogacy uses In Vitro Fertilization/Embryo Transfer (IVF/ET), also known as ‘test-tube babies,’ to impregnate the surrogate. With IVF/ET, the embryo is fertilized using the intended mother’s or donor’s eggs, and the intended father’s or donor’s sperm. The fertilized egg(s) are then transferred into the uterus of the surrogate. With gestational surrogacy, the surrogate mother has no biological relation to the baby. What does it take to become a gestational surrogate mother? First, attitude is everything. It’s imperative that a potential surrogate mother understands that the baby is not her child. Intended parents can invest upwards of $100,000 for the entire process of In-Vitro Fertilization in order to have a child, and the surrogate mother needs to understand that the decisions made in regards to the unborn child are that of the parent(s), not the surrogate mother. The next major factor for becoming a surrogate mother is the overall general health of the potential surrogate. Fertility specialists must
“Infertility does not discriminate. It impacts everyone, regardless of skin color or sexual orientation.” evaluate a potential surrogate mother to determine if she is healthy enough to have a safe pregnancy and delivery. As with any medical procedure, there are risks involved. It’s important that the potential surrogate be thoroughly screened for any potential challenges that could occur from pregnancy. Having had a successful healthy pregnancy and delivery of a child prior to surrogacy can provide a better indication of the risks and likelihood of successfully carrying a baby to term. When being a surrogate, all expenses related to the prenatal care and delivery of the baby are the responsibility of the intended parents. Additional compensation and dispersment of funds are outlined in legal contracts between the surrogate mother and the intended parent(s). It is important that both parties each have their own attorney who specializes in reproductive law to ensure the contracts are fair and executed appropriately. Becoming a surrogate mother is one of the most selfless, precious gifts anyone can give. For the parent(s), a surrogate mother is the means by which their dreams of having a family can come true. There are many agencies that are available to connect parent(s) with surrogate mothers and help facilitate the steps involved with the process. If you’re thinking about becoming a surrogate mother or know someone who might want to become one, do your research and find the right agency that fits best with you. Check out the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (www.asrm.org) and The National Infertility Association (www.resolve.org) for more resources.

on the shelves Are You My Mother?: A Comic Drama by Alison Bechdel: Best known for the decadeslong Dykes to Watch Out For and the award-winning runaway hit Fun Home, Alison Bechdel brings her scathing analysis, intense focus and tender humor to her complex relationship with her brilliant mother. Fun Home went to the heart of Bechdel’s bond with her bisexual and troubled father and Are You My Mother? is a remarkable second graphic memoir: an intricate, heartbreaking tale of a narcissistic mother and the daughter who yearns to solve her mysteries. Are You My Mother? reads like a pop culture novel penned by Germaine Greer. The result is a stunning and hilarious epic.
Gay Lives by Robert Aldrich: This gorgeous collection looks at the lives of famous gays and lesbians, spanning over four thousand years of queer heroes and heroines. From two unknown ancient Egyptian lovers to world-famous individuals such as Michelangelo and Harvey Milk, Gay Lives is an impressive survey of the richness of gay lives. Also profiled are WWII lovers who were the subject of the award-winning film Aimee and Jaguar, author Radclyffe Hall who wrote the lesbian classic The Well of Loneliness, and Del Martin, co-founder of the 1950s lesbian magazine The Ladder.
Untied by Meredith Baxter: Baxter’s memoir Untied gives readers an intimate look at her struggles with childhood neglect, years of alcoholism, and her abusive marriage to David Birney. Baxter is best known for her starring role as hippie mom Alyce Keaton, mom to Michael J. Fox’s Alex P. Keaton on TV’s Family Ties. After years of playing America’s favorite mom, it was time for Baxter to get clean and come out. Baxter’s late-in-life coming out story is inspiring, honest, and triumphant. Baxter’s raw courage and intensity lifts Untied above the standard celeb tell-all fare.

You’ll have a greater chance of achieving goals and enjoying life if you slow down and focus your energies on building solid foundations. Now is the time to implement your ideas, but it’s not the right time to argue about them. Instead, just do it. Don’t be surprised if new opportunities appear out of the clear blue sky.
You have lots of opportunities to create a better future for yourself, so be sure to accept any and all networking invitations. Show off your expertise, but don’t be pushy. Use your charm to attract. You’ll make many new friends, catch up with lots of old friends, and generally have a really good time. However, you’ll have to balance your responsibilities with your social life.
pisces feb 20 - mar 20 There will be plenty of opportunities to reconnect within your sphere of influence. Why not mix business with pleasure and organize your own networking event? Let your gut guide you when deciding on projects, but allow your practical side to create successful strategies for achieving your goals. Be realistic about your current cash flow and ask for help from friends and family to save money.

You’ll need to focus on your finances. Keep your eye on the bottom line and make necessary purchases, but don’t spend more than you make. Meet challenges cheerfully and do your best to avoid confrontations, especially about money. Don’t fly off the handle. Choose to make love, not war. Put off major decisions and discussions till next month.
You’re ready to review and release the past.and stop negative habits and patterns. Finances, especially those involving others, need to be carefully reviewed, understood and realistically budgeted.
