2010 – Emerging Technology Hype

A Simple Definition Augmented Reality (AR) is a superimposed illusion of an interactive 3 dimensional environment or multimedia such as an image, a text, sound and movie on the computer screen when a camera of a device which already installed the software tracks a marker in reality by (Radio Frequency Identification, RFID). Internet mode: Adobe Flash Player10 is installed on the computer The marker is tracked and co-ordinated content (2D, 3D, video, text, etc.) are superimposed over the image The tracking system follows the movement of the marker and plays animation accordingly It is possible to see the 3D content from 360 degrees by turning the marker in front of the camera.
