Adamstown’s 11th annual AppleUmpkin Fest will be held on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The event will take place in Adamstown’s community park, located just off Route 272, near the swimming pool.

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 22 Akron Volunteer Fire Company will hold the Annual Halloween Parade. The parade starts at the Broad Street Park and ends at the fire station. The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) selected Fulton Elementary School to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the 2014-2015 school year. Only 177 schools throughout the Commonwealth have been selected for participation.
Fulton students will be given the opportunity to taste a variety of locally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables three times per week. Samples, including local plums, watermelon and yellow squash, will be taken into the classroom. The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program kicked off with an
