Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Veteran’s Day was marked by a new tradition in Ephrata as volunteers placed 400 luminaries along the Ephrata Rail Trail near the proposed site of the Borough’s Veteran’s Plaza and the new Richard Winters Memorial Trail. The luminary tribute began at dusk and paid honor to the countless men and women who have given their lives for our freedom. Visitors to the display could visit with veterans and even see a restored WWII Jeep, which was parked at the trail entrance. Shown is a view of the special event.
