Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese Junior Kayla Logar has accomplished something no Cocalico High School student has done before: she has successfully auditioned to accompany not only the LLMEA County Chorus, but the PMEA District 7 Chorus as well. From the multitude of pianists who auditioned on some very advanced repertoire, Kayla placed first and is one of only two accompanists selected. For her audition, she was given two songs to prepare, which she then performed under the direction of a conductor. She also had to play all the voice parts at once, a skill that required her to read several lines of music at one time. Kayla is the daughter of Dave and Justine Logar. She currently takes private piano lessons with Mrs. Nikki Metzler of Lancaster.
