Located in Bandra (Mumbai) this home is for a visual artist who travels often for work. His time at home is for revival from all the work and travel. Where he would spend few afternoons designing or hosting guests. The client is also looking forward to cooking after moving in. He wants to have a work area, dining for 4 and wants his bedroom to be a private sanctuary.
Bedroom Grey walls neutralizes and ties the room together. Oakwood platform to spatially feel nestled and nurtured in.

As I open the oak wood paneled door, I can hear the sound of my footsteps on the wooden floor. Walking in barefoot, I throw the keys on the terracotta table and find myself lying on the cushioned window seat, the breeze blowing in smells of mint leaves growing outside my window. After sometime I pull down the linen blinds a little and set up my corner teak wood desk to work. As I work, I crave coffee and turn back towards my dark green tiled kitchen. My dining counter made of white stone, which feels cold to touch has my coffee machine placed on it. Few days I ditch the work corner for this dining top. I love how the drawing room always feels big and easily adaptable to my moods. After cooking, I clean up my grey counter top. I freshen up in my paneled glass bathroom which makes the house extend further. It brings nostalgia from my hotel stays. Once I enter my bedroom the grey walls and brown oak wood floor let me nest in peacefully for the night.
Space.
