Zeya Val enjoys making custom animations for her Machinimas. Today I’m chatting with her about which Sims game is her favourite and what she likes to do outside of gaming. It is a pleasure for me to give her February’s Animator of the Month. Steph: Hey Zeya! Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with me. Let’s get right to it! How long have you been playing The Sims and is there anything in particular that got you started?
ZV: The Sims 4 is the best because it has the best graphics compared to the others.
Steph: The Sims 4 is definitely the best in terms of graphics in the series. What happens when you burn out with The Sims? Do you have a go-to game? Is there something else you do?
ZV: I don’t play other games. I mostly go on social media. My current fave is tiktok.
Steph: Wow that’s the first time we’ve gotten that answer! It’s cool to know you have other things to do when you’re bored though. What inspired you to start making animations and how long have you been doing it? ZV: I played the original sims when I was young but then I stopped. And then I got back to Sims 4 when my boyfriend built me a new computer that makes gaming way better.
Steph: Thank goodness you have a PC that can handle the game. Otherwise you’d never be able to play with a bunch of packs at once. Which Sims game is your favourite and why?
