Harvest Beads Bangle This beaded bangle features crochet stitches and lots of beads, but the beads are glued rather than crocheted on. The base is a brass cuff bracelet. The sides are edged with crocheted gold thread, and the colorful center is made by gluing on hundreds of colorful seed beads. I used leftover beads collected from old projects; if you have a color scheme in mind, select beads to match.

Collected Treasures Necklace It’s hard to believe, but this elegant necklace is comprised of leftover beads from my bead box. The result is a long, exquisite piece made of five strands of crocheted bead chains. Like the Five Fingers Necklace (pages 77–79), this one also has five chains representing the five members of my family—each one beautiful individually and magnificent when connected.

Web mandalas These classic earrings are crocheted with gold-filled wire, creating a playful yet elegant look that reminds me of a mandala. Though the pattern is quite easy, working with wire takes a fair amount of skill and experience. Don’t worry about making the circles perfectly round. In life, after all, not all circles are perfect.
