Indoor toes shoes and shin guards are required.

A Zumba class is a dynamic and exhilarating fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Important Details for the 1 to 3-Year-Old Egg Hunt:

This is a parent/guardian-assisted egg hunt, and children must be able to walk independently during the event.

Each child’s registration allows one adult to accompany them in the hunt

No strollers are permitted in the egg hunt area. Please arrive 15 minutes early to pick up your wristband for entry

Participants must bring their own bag or basket for collecting eggs.

The egg hunt runs from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. or until all eggs are collected

My name is Karen, I am the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Supervisor (PRFS) at Almaden Community Center, and I’ve been with PRNS for 10 years I started my journey with the City as a Community Service Aide at Berryessa Community Center assisting with everything from summer camps to office tasks Throughout my time there, I occupied different roles in the community center eventually serving as the PRFS After 10 years of serving the Berryessa community, I recently transitioned to Almaden Community Center and am incredibly excited to join this vibrant community and lead an amazing team! Fun fact: I went to Castillero Middle School and played violin in the Orchestra!

My name is David, and I have been with the Park, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services team for about 5 years. I'm the Fitness Recreation Program Specialist responsible for overseeing sport leisure classes, the fitness facility, F.I.T camp, and special events. POLICIES

REFUND/ TRANSFER POLICY

Refund and transfer requests need to be made in writing. Refunds and transfers will be given for requests received at least 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. No refunds or transfers will be made for cancellations received by the City less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the program/class. There will be a $10 refund processing fee for EACH activity. We do NOT prorate refunds for any classes missed.

LEISURE CLASS POLICIES

Our method of registration is designed to offer equal access to all San José residents.

Customers can register for any class at the PRNS facility or online.

The City does not guarantee participation from one session to the next. All online, walk-in, mailed, faxed registration will be treated in the same manner. San Jose residents will be given first priority to register. Registration forms will be processed in the order they were received. If a class instructor is absent or a class is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be added to the end of the session.

The City of San José, Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) encourages and supports the participation of individuals with all ability levels in programs and services. To facilitate opportunities for people with and without disabilities and to engage in leisure pursuits together, PRNS provides inclusion support services.
