Spring has sprung, and that means it’s time for SPRINGTIME FUN WITH YOUNG REMBRANDTS! If your little artist is captivated by the magic of the movies, they’ll love bringing our movie theater still life to life Ready for an adventure? Drawing Aladdin's Lamp will be a wish come true! We’re also riding the waves with our super cool Surfer & Wave illustration it’s totally rad! For those with a love for fantasy, our baby dragons lesson will fire up their imagination and teach them to master color and composition And to top it all off, we’ll explore the world of art legends with a stunning portrait of Frida Kahlo to spark their creativity.

Got a little jokester with a knack for drawing? Then our Young Rembrandts Cartoon class is perfect for them! Come join the fun! Students will have fun learning ballet positions, warm-ups, and tap steps Students will learn a dance routine to perform for family and friends Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital

A Zumba class is a dynamic and exhilarating fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves It incorporates interval training, alternating fast and slow rhythms, to help improve cardiovascular fitness. The atmosphere in a Zumba class is typically energetic and fun, focusing on enjoying the music and the movements rather than perfecting each step Participants of all fitness levels can join, as the moves can often be modified to suit different abilities The class usually lasts about an hour and is led by a certified Zumba instructor who guides the participants through various dance styles such as salsa, reggaeton, merengue, and cumbia, ensuring a fullbody workout that feels more like a dance party than a fitness session

Calling all gamers and robotics fans! You'll have a blast creating robotic games you can play in this interactive Snapology camp! Futsal is a fun, fast-paced 5v5 soccer game, played indoors within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball In this class players participate in fun educational games Classes focus on increasing balance, coordination and fundamental futsal skills We utilize creative fun activities to help kids to cooperate in a group setting and build self esteem in our fun low-pressure environment

Futsal is a fun, fast-paced 5v5 soccer game, played indoors within the lines of a basketball court (no walls), using a small, size 3, low-bounce ball Players of all levels follow our innovative age-specific curriculum, to improve individual technical ability. Every week participants get the chance to show off their new skills with a scrimmage to the sounds of salsa beats! Indoor shoes and shin guards are required

DUPLICATE BRIDGE - INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED

Duplicate Bridge is called "duplicate" because the same bridge hand (i e arrangement of cards) is duplicated at other tables, in order to allow a fair comparison of playing skill and reduce "luck of the cards" In this way, every hand, whether good or bad, is played in competition with others playing the identical cards, and the element of skill is heightened while that of chance is reduced. SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM 60+

Our program is a great way to get a good, nutritious meal, meet people, access resources/information, and participate in different physical activities. A contribution of $3.00 per meal is suggested, but no eligible participant will be denied a meal because of inability to contribute. Guest meals are available for $9.00 for those under 60 years. Our dining site offers meals Monday-Friday with ethnic, vegan, and vegetarian options.

A variety of seasonal and new menu items are served weekly. Reservations are required! At least 24 hours prior. Call (408) 559-8553. Don't forget to pick up the monthly menu at our center.

AROUND THE TOWN CLUB

We're back! It's time for us to go back in the community Join us for a night on the town! This social club utilizes community activities which are selected by the group to improve socialization, leisure awareness and independent living skills. Try new things and explore your community with the support and encouragement of friendly, knowledgeable staff

Members must be able to participate within a 1:6 staff to participant ratio and be independent with their personal care needs. Please note registration fee covers staffing costs only. Additional fees may be required based on chosen activities

This is a fun comprehensive activity covering multiple activities such as: board games, karaoke, dancing, arts and crafts, and sensory science fun! Participants must be 16 or older and be accompanied by a caregiver or be able to function independently

THERAPEUTIC SUMMER CAMPS

Every kid wants to play! These day camps are designed for children with cognitive disabilities who need a higher level of staff assistance for participation, including those with autism spectrum disorder Activities include arts and crafts, group games, circle time, a field trip, and more Children should bring a sack lunch to camp each day. Participants must be able to function in a 1:3 staff to participant ratio and be independent with personal care needs or bring an attendant with them Attendants will need to complete City of San Jose background clearance (fingerprinting) and provide proof of vaccination status

Everyone loves camp! Be social, make some friends, learn some new skills This camp for teens with disabilities and their non-disabled siblings and friends will provide a safe and structured opportunity to be a teen. At Camp San José, campers participate in an unforgettable day camp experience combining camp traditions with enrichment and educational activities. Campers play fun games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, and embark on weekly field trips.

In this safe and supportive environment, campers participate in active and engaged learning projects, skill building, youth voice and leadership, and learn healthy choices and behaviors.

Price includes a low leader to camper ratio of 1:10, field trips*, a Camp San José shirt, and much more!

*Families opting not to participate in field trips are responsible for finding alternative care for their child(ren) not attending the trip. The fitness room at Camden provides everything you need for a complete workout. We have cardiovascular machines including treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, and arm ergometers. We also have both fixed track machines and free weights for strength training.

Please note: Fitness memberships can be used for drop-in sports at no additional cost. Drop-in sports subject to change.
