Betty Garcia-Front Desk/Rental Coordinator

Meet Betty Garcia! Betty has been with the City of San Jose for 6 years. She had the opportunity to work in various programs, such as Placemaking, R.O.C.K., Preschool, SNP, and Front Desk. In her free time she likes to travel, watch sports, spend time with her loved ones, and go to Disneyland. Betty is an essential part of the Evergreen Team!

Karina Rivera-Front Desk

Meet Karina Rivera! Karina has been with the City of San Jose for 3 years. She’s had the pleasure of helping out in a multitude of programs including SNP, ROCK, and Preschool. Her current position is working Front Desk at Evergreen CC. In her free time she likes to go to the gym, listen to music, and go to concerts.

Bianca Rosales-Front Desk

Meet Bianca Rosales! Bianca has been working with the city for a little over a year. During this time, she’s had the opportunity to contribute to various programs including Front Desk, SNP , R.O.C.K, and Preschool. Her primary role is at the Front Desk, where she assists our customers and provides support to our community members! In her free time, Bianca enjoys spending quality time with her family!

Meet Nadine Garcia! Nadine has been with the City of San Jose for six months. As Front Desk she provides excellent customer service to our community members and ensures our customers have a pleasant experience as soon as they walk into the center! In her free time, Nadine enjoys running and listening to music!

Michael Nguyen-Front Desk

Meet Michael Nguyen! Michael has been with the City of San Jose for 5 years. He’s had the pleasure of working various programs like ROCK after-school, SNP, and most recently became part of our Evergreen Front Desk. Michael helps us provide quality customer service and enjoys connecting with the community. In his free time, Michael enjoys hitting the gym and staying active as well as spending time with his dog Bay Max!

Alexis Saenz -Front Desk

Meet Alexis Saenz! Alexis joined the Evergreen team in October 2024. She works as Front Desk Staff where she brings a friendly and welcoming presence to our customers! Outside of work, Alexis enjoys staying active at the gym, exploring new restaurants, shopping, and spending quality time with her family. Her enthusiasm for connecting with others and staying engaged in her community shines through in everything she does.

Elementary Art

Spring has sprung, and that means it’s time for SPRINGTIME FUN WITH YOUNG REMBRANDTS! If your little artist is captivated by the magic of the movies, they’ll love bringing our movie theater still life to life Ready for an adventure? Drawing Aladdin's Lamp will be a wish come true! We’re also riding the waves with our super cool Surfer & Wave illustration it’s totally rad! For those with a love for fantasy, our baby dragons lesson will fire up their imagination and teach them to master color and composition. And to top it all off, we’ll explore the world of art legends with a stunning portrait of Frida Kahlo to spark their creativity Don’t let this artistic adventure pass by sign up today and let the creativity bloom!

They’ll get to bring inanimate objects to life, turning the Sun and Moon into hilarious cartoon characters A funny Bird Feeding Sequence will have them mastering the art of visual storytelling, and our colorful Forest Animals will be bursting with personality! Dance Divas

A fun beginning dance class where students will learn Ballet warm-ups, Jazz/ Hip Hop dance and Tap steps! Parents are allowed to stay for the first 10 minutes on the first day of class and are encouraged to attend the last class for a great recital.

Learn all about STEM through building flying and driving vehicles out of LEGO® with Brick Tech! At Camp San Jose Jr., your child will participate in an unforgettable summer camp! We combine camp traditions with a wide variety of enrichment and educational activities. Children will have the opportunity to create cool art projects, play games and, sing funny songs while ensuring CDC safety measures. Camp includes skill building, new friendships, and much more! Campers must be fully potty trained and need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day. Each Camp San Jose Jr. session runs for one (1) week.

This program offers children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old an educational and recreational experience. This program supports children's imaginative, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. The San José Recreation Preschool Program prepares students for kindergarten success in a safe and welcoming environment Children must be able to use the restroom unassisted All children must have valid immunization records on file before the start of class Requirements for parent participation will vary by center

LEARN WHILE HAVING FUN

At Camp San José, campers participate in an unforgettable day camp experience combining camp traditions with enrichment and educational activities. Campers play fun games, sports, create cool arts and crafts projects, and embark on weekly field trips.

In this safe and supportive environment, campers participate in active and engaged learning projects, skill building, youth voice and leadership, and learn healthy choices and behaviors.

Price includes a low leader to camper ratio of 1:10, field trips*, a Camp San José shirt, and much more!

*Families opting not to participate in field trips are responsible for finding alternative care for their child(ren) not attending the trip. The City will not provide a prorated refund for those that elect not to participate, nor will onsite care be available. Campers need to bring water, lunch and sunscreen each day.
