Christopher Wong
for A.S. Director of Business Affairs Hey Spartans! My name is Christopher Wong (he/him) and I’m a first year accounting major and a brother of Delta Sigma Phi. During my first year at SJSU, I have come to appreciate my campus and fellow students. I was introduced to unique individuals with diverse perspectives through my experience as a new student seeking community. The connections I have made with fellow spartans, freshman to seniors, have inspired me to represent an amazing community through Associated Students (A.S.). If elected, as Director of Business Affairs, I will work towards fostering transparency between A.S and the student community at large. I am committed to creating a tangible difference in the lives of students and their finances. I will promote inclusion, equity, and the financial well-being of all students at SJSU. I will strive to improve the lives of students and their finances while also exploring ways of enacting projects that reach beyond the scope of the role’s description to ensure that the students emerge from the challenges of this past year. I plan to accomplish these efforts by investing in endeavors that can further aid students in their return to normalcy. I have met countless amazing individuals who deserve a supportive A.S. board of directors for the bright turnaround we have ahead of us. I hope to be a driving factor within A.S as we all recover and grow from the challenges of 2020.
