PART 1 GENERAL INFORMATION (General information will include background information, a brief description of the scope of work, personnel related matters such as safety requirements, security requirements, security clearances, quality control requirements, …etc.) 1. General: This is a non-personnel services contract to provide [Executive Conference Room Multimedia System Upgrade]. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. 1.1 Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and nonpersonal services necessary to perform [Executive Conference Room Multimedia System Upgrade] as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. 1.2 Background: The Executive Conference Room’s audio/visual capabilities were last updated in 2006. Malfunctions and repairs have increased over time and components are difficult, or impossible to procure. The current system consists of analog-based switching and display components and is inadequate to provide essential support to organizational leadership. 1.3 Objectives: Replace existing analog A/V switches and displays with digital technologies. - Replace current AMX Modula A/V switching system with digital technology to support a minimum of 20 computer, 2 CATV inputs and 7 display and/or projector outputs. - Display units must be minimum 55” displays, and projector displays must be minimum capability of 1080p resolution. - Upgrade/Replace 2 x touchscreen controllers and associated logic controls and software. - Must incorporate existing amplified speaker and microphone system as well as the motorized display screens.
