Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. The information gathered from market research will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the supply of dialyzers for hemo‐dialysis at the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) located in Springfield, Missouri. All dialyzers must meet or exceed the specifications listed in the attached draft Requirement Description. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite‐delivery, requirements‐type contract with firm‐fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. The Government anticipates requiring the supply of a total of 30,148 dialyzers per year. Of the yearly requirement, 25,000 dialyzers will meet or exceed the specifications described as CLIN 1 in the attached draft Requirement Description; 5148 dialyzers will meet or exceed the specifications described as CLIN 2 in the attached draft Requirement Description.
