Geing Over Mistakes
Mistakes happen, it's inevitable, and it's a part of life. What's important is how we respond.
Learning from our mistakes is the key to growth, so think of your mistakes as giving you an opportunity to learn and grow. We often don't see it like this and instead place blame or don't take responsibility. Think about the words we use when we make mistakes. For example, you accidentally knock a glass of water off the table, and it breaks, then you say, 'Oh, ya tobeka!’ (Oh, it broke!). Wala, it didn't just break; you knocked it over, it hit the floor, and that's how it shattered to pieces. Even in describing what happened, we want to take away responsibility from ourselves. This is a simple everyday example, but it's true for bigger things.

Mistakes are errors in judgement, often accidental or misguided. Failure is a lack of success, not doing something you should've done. We all define failure in different ways, but that's what it boils down to.
