30 Year Olds Should Halt Certain Habits As your life progresses, there are certain habits and hobbies that you might have to give up. It is about time your career is at its peak and it’s about time that you should start a family. Here are a few things that 30 year olds should have given up by now:

1. Halt Frivolous Spending In about thirty years, you will be in desperate need of a heavy pension. If you are lucky, or if you have a good sense of investments, you will invest it wisely. Otherwise, it is best advised to start putting your money in a pension fund. This will ensure financial security for when you have retired. You can later purchase a property or even start up a business then.

2. Stop Using Social Media So Much You need to start getting real and make some real contacts. You need to realize that social media friends will not put up with your problems when you need them. In addition, you should branch out and meet people outside your workplace. If you are an introvert, this might be a bit of a turn-off, but you do need to make good friends. Susan Cain in her book “Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking” says that introverts do not need to take the standard extrovert as a role model. In fact, they should be making more valuable and deeper contacts.

3. Stop Being Indecisive About Your Job The best thing to do is to get rid of all the unnecessary specifications and gaps from your resume. Accept that your talents and skills might not exactly be what you need to get your next job and design it accordingly.

4. Put An End To Reckless Driving This is one of the things that have always been harmful. Even though if you do this, it does not exactly mean that you are below thirty; but its high time that you quit doing things that can cause your death or charge you a couple of tickets. Also, another habit to be getting rid of, is to quit texting while driving. It has the same consequences too; i.e. tickets and death.

5. Quit Fast Food It is about time that you realized that fast food is only toxic and dangerous to your health. Better learn to cook and start having healthier meals. All fast food and food prepared in the microwave ovens has been known to be a source to cancer. The only solution lies in proper home-cooking.
