To my New Year’s Resolutions, Listen, I think it’s time we call it quits. For as long as I can remember, you’ve been the unreliable light at the end of the year’s tunnel. TBH, I’m over the empty promises of health, wealth, quality time, world travels, and optimal hydration. I’m looking for something dependable. Something sustainable. Something real. This year, I’m creating a lifestyle that supports my goals and allows me to enjoy the journey there too. I’m not juice cleansing, or crash dieting, or working out so hard during the first week of January that I’m too sore to move for the rest of the month (…or year). I’m listening to my body, eating my veggies, drinking my water, and making room for wine & cake as applicable. New year, better me. Wishing you the best in 2018.

We know that turnips may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of cozy comfort food. But trust us when we say that, with a little creaminess from grass-fed ghee and some starch from red potatoes, this underrated root vegetable is transformed into a side dish you’ll crave all winter.
